The Chalet School Encyclopedia: Volume One Paperback – 30 Jun. 2013

I have only had this for a few days and it has been really helpful. I love to lie in bed and re-read all my Chalet School books and this helped me with a few things I had forgotten and meant I did not have to look through a lot of the books to find things out.I loved reading about about some of the girls who are only mentioned once or twice so it was really interesting.I enjoyed reading about Frieda and her family , all the childrens names and ages. I cannot wait until the next volume comes out, had just re-read Rescue and wanted to know more about Dr Peters so I will look forward to collecting them all as they come out.

Alison has done an extraordinary job of cataloguing every single Chalet School character from A-Z. (Volume One covers A-C.) We who are Chalet School addicts have a cornucopia of delights, plus a few entertaining articles on all things Chalet. Well worth the money, looking forward to Volumes 2, 3 and 4.

Great book, reminded me of lots of characters I'd forgotten from many years of Chalet School reading! Only trouble is, I want the others now!
