After resetting, you enter your code and then press the “E” button to confirm it.The keypad design is strange. There is also a “C” button, but its purpose is unclear — it almost feels like the keypad was borrowed from another product.It’s good that the manufacturer includes backup keys, because otherwise you could end up locked out.Another confusing point is that the door does not lock automatically when you press “C,” as some users might expect. You must manually turn the locking mechanism into the locked position. Once locked, the safe can only be opened by entering the correct code followed by “E,” or by using the backup key.

I bought this as a gift for a teenage girl, so she would have a safe place to keep cash or valuables away from siblings and younger nieces and nephews. I was surprised at how heavy and sturdy it was when I got it - it was a very reasonable price for something this strong. I had no problems getting to lock and unlock with the key. I appreciate that it’s able to be unlocked with either a code or with the key. It also holds a good amount of stuff for the size that it is. Overall, this was a very easy to use product and it was a great value for the money. It’s excellent particularly doe young adults who don’t need a true safe, but still want a place to keep some private items and cash.

In attempting to use the provided backup keys within four months of purchase, I discovered that the key mechanism was no longer functional and would not engage the locking system.Upon further inspection, it appeared the internal keyhole mechanism was stripped, preventing the key from turning the dial and overriding the electronic lock. In retrospect, a more thorough inspection of the unit upon delivery may have helped identify this defect earlier.At present, the safe remains inaccessible and contains important personal items. Additionally, I have encountered difficulty establishing contact with the manufacturer to pursue a resolution. Perfect Product, very useful

I bought one of these for Christmas 2024. In less than a year the keypad stopped working. One key has been lost so the safe is useless. I thought I bought a quality item but clearly not.

Esta caja fuerte es muy buena opción para guardar cosas de valor que normalmente tenemos a la mano. La resistencia no es alta (las paredes tienen un grosor de un par de milímetros), pero el objetivo es simplemente no tener las cosas a la vista. El tamaño es pequeño, por lo que se puede acomodar en cualquier lugar. Trae 2 llaves (por si se olvida la combinación), también trae sus pilas, taquetes y tornillos (para empotrarla a la pared) e instructivo. Por el precio me parece una excelente opción.
