Q: is this suitable for craft purposes - such as a filler for doorstops, pincushions, making paperweights?

It's an excellent product for cleaning aluminium products, but I have no experience of its use for craft purposes. However walnut only has a specific gravity if 1.35g/cc which is about half that of sand, therefore if its weight you are after its not the material to use, but I think that it would be great for filling pin cushions. I will give it a try.
