Loved the concept and was a cool idea for a Christmas gift, however was a bit scared that it wouldn't work based on the other reviews. But still decided to get it, it just sounded so cool. Arrived very fast, packaging was nice and gift giving ready. It's a beautiful piece and now sits perfectly on the small coffee table. OH yeah and it works perfectly and it is amazing to watch the changes that happen with the weather change. Super cool, love it and glad I got it as a gift.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. After researching and reading reviews, I settled on the Empyrean Decorative Storm Glass Weather Predictor as the favorable reviews far outnumbered the negative reviews. We followed the instructions exactly as written, which was to place outside for 2 weeks (This method was noted as being better than placing in the freezer for 20 minutes so it could adapt to our climate). After bringing it inside, it has now sat on a shelf for over a week and nothing. The crystals have settled to the bottom and have not changed once, despite our weather changing from snow to rain to sun. Super disappointed!

I bought this for my brother as a birthday gift because he is a huge weather geek. The packaging was great. It has such a cool design. He really enjoyed it. Today we had a huge storm roll through town and I messaged him eagerly asking for him to send me a picture of the storm glass so I could see if the description of the flakes matched what was outside. Torrential downpour outside and the glass is clear and says that it is sunny... this makes no sense. Do you have to take the thing outside to make it work? I like the idea of what it is supposed to do better than what it actually does. Meh.

It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It’s a nice and unique decorative piece for a desk or a bookcase.

I purchased this for my sister as a Christmas present. I really didn’t know much about it but I opened up the package to make sure it wasn’t broken and lemme tell y’all.. this thing is awesome. It was bigger than I thought, well made and just the bees knees. The company even reached out to me personally to make sure it arrived unbroken - which it did! Perfect gift for someone or yourself. Would absolutely buy again!

I love the look of this Storm Glass. However, mine does nothing. I have seen no changes even during a serve thunderstorm. I was so exited to see what would happen and then nothing....kind of a disappointment.

WOW! That’s really all there is to say about this product. The custom black box design is such a GREAT gift display compared to the tacky white boxes all these other storm glasses come in. I bought this as a gift for my little sister and she absolutely loves it. The experience she got just from receiving such great packaging honestly made her light up. Made me really happy. The instructions are directly imprinted onto the back of the box so definitely keep the box, it’s great for transporting it as well if you go to different places with different weather. We travel all the time so my sister is going to be getting some good use out of it.

I've had my storm glass for a while now and it's amazing! Put it by the window ledge, best place for it. The crystals growing is my favorite morph. It fills the entire glass. Well worth buying especially for the upcoming Christmas season, going to get a couple more for friends and family!
