2.5m Width Patio Awning Weather Cover

Purchased the 3.5m black awning cover for an Outsunny Awning. Was a little worried by some of the reviews saying it doesn't fit, so reached out to the seller. Absolutely fantastic prompt customer service from the seller!! I sent photos of the awning itself and they confirmed it would fit. They also provided me with the full dimensions as although our awning is "3.5m", in reality with the end brackets, it's actually approx 3.53m. I need not have worried as the cover fitted with ease and took around 10 minutes to fit. I'd like to add that the instructions that come with it are correct the longer length of the pull cord does need to be on the right (as you face the awning ready to fit) so that the ventilation holes are towards the bottom. One of the other reviewers stated they were incorrect but depends if you're facing away from the awning or towards it. I cannot comment on the durability of it, as we've just fitted it on a dry day, having said that it appears to be very well made and good quality. Reach out to the seller if you're unsure about it fitting your particular awning. Absolutely super service from them if you have any questions and arruper super quick too!

Some reviewers have said that a 2.5m awning cover won't fit a 2.5m Primrose awning. Nonsense. Fits fine. You just need to pull lengthwise (and not very hard) and the cover will stretch easily over the end of the awning cassette. I would, however, recommend you put in a few reinforcing stitches at either end of the cover flap -- the stitching's OK'ish but could be better at the ends. A point to note: The instructions say to have the pull cord on the right. They're wrong. The pull cord needs to be on the left so the awning cover wraps from the top, around, and down, with the drain holes on the bottom. If you follow the instructions you'll just make a gutter that will fill with water. Pull the cords straight and lengthwise to tighten, mind your knuckles on your brickwork when connecting the velcro, and you should have a great looking cover.

Robust, good quality, comes in its own little case, easy Velcro fasteners. Despatched 22 December, arrived 23rd, 10 days early!!

The geezer who wrote the instructions needs to be pulled into the manufacturer and asked if he knows his right from his left?Instructions say put cord to the right but as a previous reviewer says (too late I had done it and got wet when I undid it, proof it holds the water) cord to the leftThere are two cords 🙄 so make sure the holes are at the front and the velcro comes down the back of the awning and fastens underneath

It's pretty straightforward to install we had the 4 meter awning the hardest part is getting the 3 brackets level on the wall measure 3times drill once !!We originally set it at 3 meter high as per the instructions but had to move it to 2.5 meters to get max shadeThe winding mechanism is smoth and very easy to use . The trouble shooting to adjust are easy and work

Spent twice as much on the last cover we bought some years ago, not expecting it to last as well but for the price it’s excellent and fitting it over the awning was easy. It’s well made and so far the strong winds haven’t cause any issues

Quality not good for use as outside awning cover. Splits appeared letting in rain.
