BRABABY® Bra Saver Protector for Washer and Dryer White

This product shipped quickly and seems nice and sturdy. Have used a few times and seems to do exactly what I wanted - protect delicate things including bras and also my masks that have wire in them - I use without the inner ball and put mask inside a small lingerie bag in the ball - keeps the wire from getting all bent up in the washer. I had a hard time figuring out how to open it - it had no directions on use, just assembly. It came assembled though so not sure why assembly instructions were needed. It would not twist to open and after inspection by myself and my husband, the pin toggle which appeared to simply hold the pieces together has to be turned and pushed out so the two halves can be rotated open. To use, I’m guessing you are supposed to replace that pin - I didn’t one time and the ball still stayed closed. The pin is very small and not the easiest to pull open so that’s mildly annoying but with a few uses it seems to have gotten easier to use. The holes in the ball are quite big and so when I used it for a bra, the bra straps were hanging out of the holes in the ball after going through the washer so I will probably place it inside a lingerie bag and then in the bra ball next time.

Works great once locked… but the lock is nearly impossible to put into place. You have to push a plastic piece into its place then turn it. Both pushing into other piece and turning is SO hard, mostly b/c the lock itself is so small.

Este producto resulta muy costoso para el pobre servicio que presta.

I had an earlier model of the bra baby that I had for years but it broke so I ordered a new one. They must've done a redesign since the original. It still does it's job, it's just harder to open and close it. Not bad, I still recommend it, it's just not as great as the original.

I've purchased other brands and they just don't seem to hold-up like the original BraBABY brand. I first purchased a BraBABY almost a decade ago (from Bed, Bath, and Beyond) and it just now went out of use (one of the clips broke), so lasting nearly 10 years, using it on a weekly basis, definitely speaks to its durability. The few extra dollars for BraBABY is definitely worth it if you want to get your money's worth! I use this for bras, swimsuits, and other delicate intimates that I don't want snagging on other clothing in the wash machine. I've never placed it in the dryer though, because I air dry my bras, so I can only speak to its use in the wash machine.

Basket lock is hard to open and close. Using this to wash my face masks in as they have the metal nose pieces and it works beautifully.

I may have to return this. It wax a great idea in theory, however it’s a poorly executed design. There is a tiny removable piece that locks the outer shell together and it falls out all the time. To be honest I am not sure how I keep finding this piece in my laundry. Also, it’s tediculos difficult trying to tuck the braw straps inside the smaller ball — again poor design execution

Works better than the last bra protector I purchased (can’t remember what store it was from). This is pretty much the same but better because it locks in place better. The size is perfect for my bras and isn’t too large for my machine. I have a front loading washer (can’t remember the size) and it fits fine alongside the rest of the laundry.

Got this product for my girlfriend as she would wash her bra’s and they would be lying around drying for days. We have used this wash & dry and all good, even shapes the bra again. Don’t over pack the bra straps loosely pack them in the inner ball.
