I use this to at security to my door
I used this with large screws to add security to the door between my garage and house. . I may order more and put them on the other entryway doors.

Where's the beef?
The Prime-line security strike plate is on the thin side for a product that is supposed to add sturdiness to your deadbolt lock. The design is good, but the plate should be a thicker stronger metal. This strike plate is more about aesthetics rather than security.

Opening for deadbolt to insert is too small
It was too small for my lock

Metal was about 50% thinner than the manf plate. I could easily bend it with no effort. Would not recommend. Oh and the screws stripped too. Wonderful. Get the other ones listed here that are thicker stainless steel. This one was a waste if time
