Heavy Duty Low Profile Wand Tilter for 2" Horizontal Blinds, Hexagon Shaped Gear/Hook Connection (2 Qty)

I bought 4 units to replace broken tilters that came originally with the blinds. The installation was real easy, in fact I replaced 3 in less than 30 minutes. My blinds are made by Faux Wood Blinds (Grand Wood 2" Plantation Style, 6 ft. wide by 4 ft. long) and the fit was perfect.Parts are well made and I personally liked that the gears and sprocket are made of metal thus will last longer, Someone mentioned in a comment that the metal parts made it harder to close and open the blinds than the plastic ones, neither my wife or myself found them any harder but even if it was harder to turn I rather have them last longer with metal gears and sprocket.Tips:1) Make sure that you align the flats in the gear and socket when installing tilter into hexagon shaft otherwise it will be hard to insert tilter into shaft.2) You might also want to purchase a pack of CLEAR Valance Clips for Window Blind Valance (10 Pack) for $6.69 if you have a valance to cover the blind track. The valance is held by plastic clips and there is a good chance they will break when removing the valance and blind to replace the tilter.

Didn’t even know you could replace the wand tilter. I just YouTubed it and replaced this piece. This wand tilter is better quality than the one we replaced!!! Super easy, fit perfectly!

It works well.

I had two blinds in my home that I could no longer open and close. Did not want to replace as I was afraid I could never completely match with others in the room. Called several businesses that sold blinds and asked about someone repairing them. No one wanted to help me. Went on Amazon, found the part, ordered it, and within the week I had them repaired. Less than $10.00 for two. Hardest part was dealing with blind weight and getting on and off the ladder as they were both double windows about 80 inches tall. Oh, and almost forgot to mention, I am most proud to say, we are over 80 years old.

So yeah these things break over time and it's stupid to throw away and get new blinds when all you have to do is pop this piece in and it's so easy to do.. great price I think the quality is great it was metal inside instead of cheap plastic as far as the gearing and yeah my blinds are working like brand new again.. the one thing I had to deal with is it says two units in each package so I ordered two packages and I was supposed to get four that did not happen I only got two but it was dealt with and that's the thing it's always dealt with with Amazon they take care of it so no big deal in fact I'm going to order more from this company! I just want some standing by for when the other ones in my house go down because that's what happens things get worn down..

The tilt wand on our very wide 2” horizontal blinds stopped working and would just click, click, click when we turned it, so I searched YouTube and found a video on replacing a tilt wand control that had the same problem.I took the blinds down and noticed that the middle gear on the control was made of plastic, which was strange since I figured that blinds over 76” would have a metal gear.I went straight to Amazon and found the perfect replacement control with a metal gear, and it came in a pack of two controls, which was even better, not to mention the inexpensive price.I watched a few videos on replacing the tilt control while waiting for the order to arrive so when the package came, I was able to replace it easily and the blinds open and close like new again.Now I have an extra control in case the plastic gear in the tilt control on the other set of blinds starts clicking.

If you can use a screw driver and maybe a pair of pliers; you can do this. Just look at your Wand Tilter and look at the dimensions; measure and buy yourself " Metal" type wand tilters. I have my how to on Youtube. It took me 5 minutes to remove from the window, pull out the broken one, instal the new wand tilter and put back on the window. Simple. It looks scary; but it's not at all.What can you lose. $10? Or save about $100 + on buying new blinds. I've so far replaced four in my house and wish I would have done it a long time ago.

Purchased multiple 2" custom blinds online about a decade ago with no issues. This is a very strong metal winder that fits perfectly as a replacement piece in our 2" blind.

Fit perfectly. Made of more durable materials than the original part, even. Surprisingly easy to install; just looked up YouTube videos. Glad it came in package of 2, as not long after I got it, I broke another one. My originals have a plastic part that holds the hook, and over time it becomes brittle and breaks easily, whereas the new part is metal. Would buy again, if needed for other blinds.

Arrived in a timely manner and rec'd both items as stated in the sellers information. Item was a perfect fit and the blinds are working again. Metal parts inside as opposed to plastic cranks in the original should last much longer. Great purchase and saved replacing expensive blinds.
