Makes Sense
Much more environmentally friendly than disposables, easy to refill and the size is perfect for a long weekend camping trip. My only minor gripe is that one sits level on a flat surface and one does not...the ring was welded onto the bottom too high and the bottom of the tank protrudes just enough to make it rock.

Saves money and super easy to use
This adapter works exactly as expected and makes refilling the small tanks simple. It feels solid and well built, and I havenโt had any issues using it. Definitely a must-have if you go through a lot of the smaller propane bottles โ saves money fast.

Well made, but...
Well made compared to a throwaway can, there's a noticeable heft to the gauge of steel used compared to throwaway cans, with thicker welds at the seams ...but with a couple of issues. The first one I got was manufactured "crooked", the top of the can, the male threaded part, was not parallel to the can base, it was slanted a few degrees. Put a campstove on it, and a pot, and it's tilted where it should be level. Using this with my Coleman stove was the only reason I got it. Contacted Flame King with photos, and they sent me a replacement quickly. (Could have just returned it to Amazon, but I was more curious about the manufacturing defect, and the opinion from FK) Other issue is there's no convenient way to store the allen vent wrench which comes taped to the plastic cover guard, so it logically stays with the refill adapter, minor issue. (And that cover guard doesn't make it either, a normal brass threaded cap is more practical)

The bottle fills easily and does not tip when heating a heavy pot.
I love the Flame King propane refillable propane bottles...I like the lower ones when heating up water or something heavy so it will be more sturdy and not tip. I am happy with them and highly recommend all the Flame King Refillable propane to save $ and they are super easy to refill.

Second return in progress. Quality issues. Missing hex key.
Second return in progress. I would really like one of these to be in decent working shape with no issues so I'm trying again for a third one. First one came with pin sized holes in the finish that were rusting and deep enough to unsettle me. It didn't have the wobbling problem with the base that others have described. The second one I got had a less defective finish, but the base wobbles like others have described because the round bottom in the middle protrudes past the stabilizing outer ring. Both have not had the advertised hex key so far. Fingers crossed for the third one. I have a feeling the crappy ones of these are getting returned and passed around until they finally reach a customer who doesn't mind. Update: 3rd one arrived, it seems fine - except of course the hex key was missing just like the other two.

Easy to refill.
Works well, pretty easy to refill, good functional size for hiking, hunting, or fishing. Seems durable. Good value.

Very sturdy, probably won't tip over. I like it.
I use this for a mosquito repellent device. The device was made for those camping gas containers. They are really expensive so I got one of these 1/2 pound propane bottles and put an adapter on it. I like how sturdy the tank is sitting on the ground. Much less chance of tipping over than with a one pound tank. This paid for itself in one summer with the ability to refill from a 20 pound tank. It should last a long time. I like it.

Fix a wobbly tank with car door trim.
If you get a canister that wobbles you can fix it by adding car door trim on the bottom rim. Seeing how the seller has had multiple issues with this, they should provide car trim with their product... If they did it would be a five star review!

Love it
Its heavy but amazing at saving me money and easy to fill up. I would recommend it for car camping and not hikes etcโฆ.

Questionable Quality
The quality of these ยฝ lb tanks that I bought is maybe 7/10. Both of the cylinders I received would not sit flat on a table. They rocked around because the curve of the bottom of the tank is lower than the ring base that is welded to the tank. Not a big deal in most cases, but if I use the tank without an additional base for stability, whatever appliance you have on the tank will rock back and forth. Also, I did not receive a hex key for the valve on the tank.
