Waterfall Desktop Fountain with Birds - LED Lighting

we've paid 15-20 for other solar gnomes (that admittedly have more detail) - but here, you get 2 (and I thought they would be smaller, but they each are just as large / same size scale as the more expensive ones we've bought!)the faceted plastic lenses over the LED are a bit showy or tacky, I'm considering painting them with a little translucent stain in a pale blue or green maybe. but by no means is it bad as-is.also, most important: these have REPLACEABLE BATTERY! in contrast to the more expensive ones we bought, which are sealed so you can't even change the battery! :( and on top of that, those other expensive ones apparently contain only a tiny Ni-Cd 1.2V 80mAh "button" cell!!! :( :( :(the two in this set, you can replace the battery (the one included in each gnome is: AAA Ni-Cd 1.2V 300mAh, which is not bad considering there's only 1 LED to light up) - I ended up putting in 2100mAh AAA eneloops since I had plenty of extras lying around lol.description reads "hand made and painted" - hmm, I mean these are cast resin made in china so I'm not exactly sold on the "hand made" part, which honestly is fine. but I can believe they're "hand painted" since there is some variation and little flaws and blemishes (which we think only adds to character, we like it!)

Ok, so I guess I'll start with the good. Well made, and colored very nicely, although a bit larger than expected.Now for the negatives.. Received with a broken wing on the swinging fairy.. Glued back in place, not a big deal. Came with a single output pump, yet there are 2 water lines, 2 completely different diameters.. The output of the pump would only directly fit one of the lines, which leads to the front waterfall. No way to attach it to the top creak feed line. It should have come with a T adapter to connect both lines, which I had to make. Then I had to put a valve on the front waterfall line, as it would not let any water reach the top outlet. I should NOT have had to go through this trouble.. Very disappointed.. The LED lighting, is a single bright white LED in the middle of the pond. I sorta expected it to be a color changing LED, which would be much better. What this basically means, is, it is NOT plug n play at one would expect.. Could have been a much better purchase, if only the manufacturers would have a little common sense and STOP cutting corners that should not be... I will not purchase from this seller again, even though they may not be the blame for these issues..

I gave these as a gift. I did get to see them in action. They were kept in the house because "they were too cute to have outside." They lit up the kitchen very brightly. When I got up in the night I thought someone had turned the house light on, they didn't it was these little guys.They have them sitting by the window and even though they don't get direct sunlight they were still that bright.One doesn't last as long as the others, but they would shine approximately 5 to 6 hours depending on the brightness of the day.They are about 4 inches tall. As I said they are inside so I can't tell you how they would last outdoors.

This planter is as cute as can be, and the headlights work, and my parents (who it was a gift for) love it! The on/off button by the battery compartment is noncommittal, so it's hard to tell if it is on or off until it gets dark. And the solar panel on the hood appears to have been glued in by a toddler.

IT is attractive and creates a nice ambience. Fountain and lights are soothing. Unfortunately it arrived with part of the base broken off. However, this doesn’t show and fountain still works fine.

I ordered this for my mom as a birthday gift, it is a little smaller than I thought but still adorable, I didn't see it work but everything was packed well and there was no damage

This fairy figurine probably would have been enough to make my wife happy on her birthday - but the first time she saw the flowers light up with a pulsing glow in each “blossom” she was totally delighted. The figurine is beautifully crafted and is about 18” in height, with metal, detachable wings. A very nice addition to my wife’s collection, one I’m sure she treasures. The seller provided the figurine as promised, it was delivered well protected in styrofoam packing, and we’re very happy.

Very pretty, packaging was solid, I really enjoy this fountain. My only complaint was the LED light did not sit very well, so water drained out of the second level straight to the bottom instead of hitting the last level until I jammed the light into the hole. Now it's good until the light creeps it's way out of the hole. Still would buy again if something happened to this one.
