I've had this mounting bracket on my garage since the fall. Install wasn't hard, and so far my solar panel has been held solidly in place. Performing as advertised.

Junk product . I will not recommend this to anyone doing a solar project.

The product worked for me with some modifications. I have a single 40 watt panel whose dimensions did not aligne with with predrilled openings to secure the solar panel. I added wood to the panel and drilled holes through the wood and panel and secured it with screws. I plan to buy the same panel mount for a second project.

Good quality components, easy assembly, good price, instructions are simple. Go for it.

This pole mount consisted of two flat pieces of aluminum with no reinforcing bends or any stiffness added. It looks like something that was fabricated in a shop class. It provides very little support for the panel, particularly in windy conditions, and relies on the panel’s own mechanical strength. I would recommend avoiding this one for your expensive solar panel particularly if it is a larger one.

This product is not ready to go out of the box. The bottom pole mount holes are not aligned properly, so the mount will not fit flush with the back plate which rests against the pole. I didn't have a tool that is able to grind out a wider hole in the back plate or the mount arm (fortunately a friend was able to help me out). The instructions and pictures are way too small to be readable, very few actual words, it is impossible to decipher the parts in the diagrams, and there is absolutely no indication where the few locking washers should go (because their aren't enough for every bolt connection, neither are there enough washers). The metal support arms are sharp on some edges, which is not good for the cables. Overall I consider this a mediocre product, given the price I expected better. It does 'work', but the hassle factor with (what should be) a simplistic product is excessive. Feel free to buy it, but I suspect you will be annoyed and disappointed. My overall rating is a very generous 3-star. IF they fix the issues, it would be worth the cost... but as it stands, way over-priced for what is provided.
