Installed 4/10/2018 just a wash machine. Purchased from Costco. Before I ran the machine, I tried to connect to Wifi using my GalaxyS8+. First I had trouble connecting it, it kept giving me an error, "could not find this unit in GE cloud". I called GE customer service and walked through the process but still could not fix it. So I have decided to run a first wash without Wifi connection. I put light load of clothes, mainly few t-shirs and socks. I ran White cycle, Warm, Auto Dispense and Auto Soak for 15 min. The unit ran without any problem, the Auto Dispense seemed putting too little detergent but the clothes were washed ok. Right after I finish the first cycle, I tried to connect to Wifi again and this time it worked. Also few minutes later my app said there is a new SW update for my unit so I updated it. It took about 15 min to update. I also got mobile app update right after that. So now I have following versions.Software Version: 1.0.2.39WiFi Module SW version: 0.0.2.226Mobile App: 5.0.4.20 (Google Play store just said Bug Fix)I haven't washed since these updates so I don't know what has changed. I don't have Alexa / Google Home so I don't use voice commands.

Spin Cycle is Problematic
I did not purchase this through Amazon, but wanted to post a review here because I'm a little suspicious of the GE review site.I have not used any wi-fi features and I can't think of any scenario where I would need to.Below is the review on posted on the GE site.We bought this because we wanted a higher capacity washer. It seems to work OK for light loads, but it is constantly out of balance for heavy loads, no matter what cycle you choose. For heavy loads it needs to be set for no spin and find a different way to get all the water out or try to manually move items around until you can get it to balance by trial and error. I have never had spin problems with any previously owned washing machines. I don't expect this to last long since it is often trying to shake itself apart.

Read the f... manual!
I am responding to Historybuff's comments about the product. I did not buy my GE GTWook750CSLWS 27 Inch Top Load Washer on amazon.com. Whoever Historybuff's talking about the poor performance of the machine needs to read the owner's manual and guide. The manual and guide specifically talked about loading the clothes evenly around the edges of the drum. This machine rocks! RTFM!

this washer is a real loser
this washer is not good for washing clothes. i can only use it for sheets and towels. even the towels get torn. the problem is the 800rpm spin cycle. it stretches out knits like teeshirts and skirts. it stretches the elastic in gym shorts. the clothes become too big and unwearable. sears sent technicians 9 times and pronounce the machine operates as designed. g.e. techs said the same thing. we have a one year warranty with g.e. and a five years warranty with sears. neither company did anything for us. they say that i should have returned the machine in 30 days. the only notice re: 30 days was in fine print on the Sears visa receipt. there was nothing in the store, nothing in the printed material that came with the machine. we bought the machine and then went out of town. when we got back i used it and saw the results. i will never buy anything from either of those companies again. i used the delicate cycle to wash those items mentioned above and cold water as i have over the years with my old machine. this washer is a piece of junk. lots of wasted money, lesson learned.
