DIPGRIPS Home Gym Dip Station Bars

Great design, reasonable price, and installation is easy. Grips have a good angle to avoid unnecessary deltoid strain. Solid construction. My problem is that the doorframe where I installed it is apparently weak, because it has started cracking. Planning to move it to another doorway soon.

Good design and easy to use. Definitely strong enough to hold lots of weight. I do weighted dips with 25 to 50 lbs. the Dipgrips arrived on time and packaged very well. I have two issues with the bars. The rubber grips need to be glued on as I have already had them rotate when using the Dipgrips. I will glue mine on. The bar slots that fit into the brackets are just a little bit larger allowing the bars to move slightly. One note when installing the brackets, most interior door openings are one to two inches larger than the studded frame. This allows for the door frame to be shimmed to fit to accommodate leveling the door frame. This means that in order not to bend the door frame, you might need to install a filler strip when installing the brackets. This will prevent the door frame from bending and allow a strong tight fit.

The product arrived on time, in good condition and with all the piecesInstallation was quick and easy.All you need is a tape measure, electric drill with a phillips head bit and a marker/pen to mark the holes.I bought this item because i wanted to save space and because i already have a door- way pull up bar i didn't need a powertower dip/pull station taking up space in my room.The only issue I have with this product is that it wiggles a bit and over time the screws have loosened up in the the door frames. Ive had to move the dip bars( which are detachable ) up and down the frame a couple of times already.There are only two screw holes at the top and bottom of the the dip bar anchors which doesn't lend to much stability with frequent use, perhaps if there were 3 or 4 screw holes in the frame anchors this wouldn't have been an issue.I'm 180 lbs but if a lighter person were to use it often this probably wouldn't be an issue.Otherwise good product, cheaper and takes up less space than a powertower.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use with this product. Just drilled in four screws and that was it. I was initially concerned with the durability factor, but was impressed with how well they were built. The handles are really comfortable. I have used it almost everyday with no problems. I would absolutely recommend this product. Thank you to whomever designed these!

These are even better than I had expected them to be. Great quality, easy to install, extremely well packaged and amazing communication from the seller.When I used them I was able to get a much better muscle workout than other dip stations, as the forward facing movement and position of the handles allows you to get lower and have a greater range of motion.

I'm only giving the DIPGRIPS Home gym four star instead of a five star review because of the screws that came with the product. I tried everthing possible to get one of the dip bar brackets to mount to my door way. everytime I tried doing a dip, the screws on one of the brackets would come loose. I then stopped by Lowes, then Homedepot to buy something that'll work because I wasn't going to return this!! I then bought some metal wall anchors from Homedepot to be able to mount the dip bar bracket for good and it worked!!!! I hope the developer reads this and takes a look at the pictures that I had taken to get it to mount. I know for sure that people's doorways are different but I think this will help not to tear up door way.

this is a durable and well made product. I think it is a good idea to have an attachment in your doorway to perform dips. I gave Dipgrips a rating of 3 stars instead of 5 stars, because the newer Dipgrips V2 Brackets, having 4 holes for 4 screws had to be purchased separately. this should be included in the purchase. the Dipgrips come with brackets with 2 holes for 2 screws. I would not feel comfortable using this product using the 2 hole bracket. the 2 hole bracket should be discontinued and replaced with the V2 Brackets. this is a big issue for me. not having the product come with the V2 Brackets instead of the two hole bracket is a bad idea.

As a middle aged man who works out exclusively at home, Dip Grips are the perfect addition to my exercise equipment arsenal. As I continue on my fitness journey, body weight exercises are beginning to encompass more of my regimen. That being said, my interest in doing dips increased over the summer. Using 2 chairs placed parallel to each other was not only unsafe, but not quite as effective. While scouring Amazon just days before Christmas, I miraculously discovered Dip Grips! I ordered them and told my wife what she got me for Christmas. I was able to install the Dip Grips in less than 10 minutes, they take up no additional space (unlike a dip station), and are completely unobtrusive. I use my Dip Grips almost daily for triceps, chest and abdominal work. I’ve even got my wife using them, she’s gone for barely doing 2 dips at the end of December to now completing 5 solid dips with great form.
