They look more purple in the pic but are lighter. I like to change the colours around as my bathroom is grey so adding mats and towel gives it a pop of colour. I now have two lavender sets (different pattern). They do look good and are sufficient for the job. They're not the best quality but not the worse and easily handle the washing machine. I would buy again
