LOVE LOVE LOVE
I love this lace "bedspread" but I didn't use it as a bedspread. I used it for something totally unexpected that I was searching and searching for an answer to. I couldn't be more pleased with this gorgeous lace panel!I have a king size canopy bed. It came with a canopy fabric that's hideous! Heavy, olive greenish sort of color with a sheen! Ewww. Hideous. My bed is to die for gorgeous but this fabric was really ugly and weird like curtains from a vampire castle. Not only was it ugly but it blocked the breeze from my ceiling fan. I don't use air conditioning in the summer because I like my doors and windows open and I need the breeze from my fan which is way up there on a 25' cathedral ceiling. It goes so fast the breeze actually moves my sheets. So this fabric was ugly and it was blocking my breeze. I needed something pretty and something that the air would come through. Lace!I thought I was going to have to buy fabric so I started looking and it was crazy because the fabric needs to "billow down" in between the canopy slats (see photos). Trying to figure out the measurements was maddening and I couldn't even use the fabric it came with for measurements because it's all pleated and has elastic on it blah-blah...impossible to measure. So I then started looking at "lace curtain panels" and that's when I came across this lace bedspread and even though it's queen size the measurements were PERFECT because as a bedspread it was made to drape on queen size bed which meant that extra length would be perfect for the "billowing" I needed.Well long story short, it's THE MOST PERFECT THING I could have ever hoped for. So perfect it's as if it was custom made for my bed!I doubt anyone having the same canopy fabric issue as I had will ever stumble across my review but you never know right? And if you're looking at it for a bedspread or even a formal tablecloth (gorgeous) you will love it. It seemed a bit pricey to me at first for a piece of lace but it transformed my bed into EXACTLY what I wanted so it was worth every penny!

A bit pricey, but very pretty
I've been playing around with bedroom decor and settled on a kind of weird winter lodge boho look, or Norwegian bed-and-breakfast... haha :) One thing that bothered me was the gap between my duvet and the bed skirt. I tried a couple different blankets, but it always just looked like I sloppily made my bed. I pictured something like this, thought it might work, and ordered the ONLY one I could find on Amazon. Not loving that it was $30... the pattern and color are lovely, but it's pretty stiff and scratchy. That might change after washing, I hope so. It won't really touch my skin, so not a biggie either way. Overall I'm happy with it. Would be super cute with vintage farmhouse or shabby/cottage chic decor.
