I never write reviews, but for this book i got to make an exception. I saw it on tiktok and i even though i was very sceptical in the beginning, this book didn‘t disappoint at all. At first glance i thought this would be the basic ‚romanticizing-abuse-from-partner‘ kind of book which it absolutely isn‘t. This young female writer mastered to let you feel with the protagonist, we went with Livi through every step of the way. This storyline had me in all my feels, sad, happy, angry, disappointed, relieved, you name it, you‘ll feel it. This book is raw and comes extremely close to the reality of living in such an poisonous and abusive environment. Couldn‘t put it down once i read it, and since i finished not a day goes by without thinking about it. Hana Mahmood‘s writing style was for me personally something i haven‘t seen in a book before, the realness, the vulnerability, it really let‘s you see what a beautiful and intelligent mind this woman has. Courage and warm hugs to every survivor. Thank you for pouring your heart into this book in order to help so many others.-Sarah

What an amazing book ! I could not put this down and finished it in two days. Loving with demons was a story that made me feel seen. Every thought and feeling I was never able to articulate down onto paper……. This was written so beautifully and Livia Dalia’s story is so moving and touching especially after having experienced narcissistic abuse. Definitely a must read.

Ich habe wirklich fast jedes einzelne Wort gefühlt. Dieses Buch ist so authentisch und fesselnd.. schon traurig wie viele Menschen durch so eine Hölle gehen müssen..

I’m obsessed! As someone who’s suffered from a minor experience of narcissistic abuse in my past, I cried and smiled at MANY parts of the book! The author is so brave, powerful, intelligent and remarkable etc for sharing such a story. This book made me feel seen! I feel soo seen! 😭 I would recommend this to literally everyone in the whole world. 18+ mostly but everyone!!

This book was beautifully written and a must for anyone who has ever had any relationships with narcissists. Very gripping
