Antoni Debut Cello Outfit - Full Sized

I ordered this as a complete beginner, the price was cheaper than other student packages. It is good as has solid tonewood construction and ebony fittings, rather than cheap ebonised ones. I really liked the look of the darker toning of the varnish in the pictures and was expecting a dark and light shaded colour. When it arrived it is just the bog standard redddish colour that most other student cellos have. I was quite disappointed as I would have probably gone with the better known Stentor make had I known. Comes with instructions on how to put the bridge on, but it isnt that simple...The description says fitted bridge, but it isnt. The feet needed cutting and other bridge adjustments doing before it could be raised. So beware if you do not have a Luthier nearby. The nut is also high and makes pressing on the strings hard, so I will need to have that altered too. Sounds nice and big for a beginner cello. Happy for the money spent.
