Darker shadows don't remove completely. I love it for blender brushes gets them nice and clean so you don't muddy the shadows. Cleaning is super easy I use my facial cleansers and clean it when I give my brushes a good clean.

Removes colors pretty well
This does make it so I can switch from one color to the other. I haven’t tried switching from vastly different color families but it does take off enough color I can use one brush for my entire eye if I wanted to.I am curious if it damages the bristles.

perfect for cleaning Scrapbook brushes
I use brushes with my stamping ink but cleaning between colors was a pain. It used a lot of paper. I bought this and it has been spectacular! I love it and wish I'd purchased one a year ago.
