Excellent read
I am currently reading through this book with my theology discussion group. We have read through the first four chapters so far and have all really enjoyed the book. Willimon is about as good as it gets when it comes to theology these days and he doesn't pull any punches. I had the opportunity to meet with him recently and could sit and listen to him talk all day. If you're looking for guidance about salvation Who Will Be Saved is a great place to start.

Reading This Book Won't Save You...But It Won't Hurt
Willimon has done it again, reminding us that the more interesting question is not 'who will be saved' but 'who is this God that saves? Fantastic and much needed corrective to both universalist and fundamentalist Theology. Heavily influenced by Barth, Von Bathazar, Kierkegaard, and Flannery O' Connor creating a book that reads like a good sermon. I was brought to tears numerous times by Will's description of this God who so relentlessly saves, in spite of us.

Controversial, yet solid - strong apologetic for Wesley Methodism- scholarly written and very provocative but framed in this ecclesiastical era!
