Works great with our Samsung UN40H. If your old remote still works at all (ours began to work intermittently) there are special instructions to directly switch a key function from the old remote to this remote. This fixed the Smart Hub key problem that I've seen mentioned here. There is also a way to get to the Smart HUB by using the Menu key. Overall, great universal remote. Looks exactly like our original remote. Also nice that is so inexpensive. Our TV was just past warranty.

Works as advertised. Very easy to set up.

I had this remote for about 3 months now and it works well ... The feel is a little cheap but it does them job. The only little issue I have is, there is no Close Captioning button on the remote itself.. so, I have to go into my TV's settings to enable it .. which is a little bit of a hassle.

Nice to have control of the TV again. The old original unit was worn out and unreliable, but so far this remote has been spot on and a relief in doing a number of functions on the inputs we use with our set. Very happy with it!

Got this remote to try for my tv, even though it was not listed as on of the Tv's it would work for, bc the one for my tv was the one with the fancy keyboard on the back and cost from $50.00-$60.00 here on Amazon. I got it and everything on the remote worked except the smarthub button, which was the main reason we needed it. Luckily I followed the directions with the remote and the third code I tried made the smart hub button work. There will be a party at my house tonight bc we have access to all our apps on our tv again!

Does the job ok

This remote was so simple to use. Point and click kind of easy. There was not any setup needed to work on my old 2009 40" 120hz LCD Samsung TV, which was very surprising. I was really concerned if I had to input a code or go searching for the code, but everything I needed came with the remote. The remote even works with my brand new 2016 65" 4K Samsung. I like this remote better than the factory remote. So for those with old or new Samsungs, don't hesitate to buy this remote as a replacement universal remote.

After our kids broke the remote (they're 5 and impatient) I scoured Amazon to find the exact replica. Ta-da here it is & it came overnight. Thanks Amazon for letting us continue our screen time!
