Fell apart literally after the first pull
Got this item, plugged it in, pulled it to about 3 feet. Then when i went to retract it, it unspooled and broke. Complete garbage.

Very nice, particularly length, annoying retract button protrudes...
I'm using these for portable serial console cables, far overkill, but length is rare - found these, so solid! They are well constructed, but only issue is the button to retract extends past the case, and setting these down on anything causes retraction.Particularly since I took two of these and bonded them together with epoxy, and setting them both down (weight) causes the side down to retract. Annoying, but I know I'm using these likely counter to what they thought anyone might.I use these often by the pair, thus bonding them, and was going to order another half-dozen here, but the retraction thing is annoying...Make the button inverted, or flat with the outside, please.
