So I have not installed this yet, but I must say the quality of build was definitely well thought out. However, someone did mention the mount that is supplied really isn’t a mount, but something it rests on. So that would be the only thing that is a dislike about this product. A lot larger than I pictured. The brass head is heavy duty and the screens seem to be well made as well. The ball valve on top moves smooth so easy to use and straight forward. All good materials. Look forward to getting this installed, it will save the life of my filters.

I installed the Waterdrop Mega Spin Down Sediment Filter on my whole-house system, and so far it has been working perfectly. The build quality feels solid, installation was straightforward, and the dual 50-micron + 100-micron filtration is a nice upgrade from my old setup. What impressed me most is that there’s almost no noticeable pressure drop — the water pressure before and after the filter is essentially the same, which isn’t always the case with sediment filters. The reusable design and easy backwashing are added bonuses that should make long-term maintenance simple. Overall, I have no complaints. This filter performs well, keeps sediment out of the system, and maintains strong water flow. Highly recommended.

Build quality is very good. Kit includes fittings to adapt it to both 1" and 3/4" Pex adapters. Only complaint is the mounting bracket is not very well designed and it makes it very difficult to use the included wrench to unscrew the filter mounting ring. I am a fairly skilled mechanic and I can't do it without removing the filter from the wall mount and putting it on a work bench. That means I will have to use push fittings for the PEX input and output so I can change filters. I wonder if they included the wrong wrench. It rally sucks. Everything else is very good.

Great prefilter! I run a water collection tank from the tote through the sediment filter and it really filters well. Easy to install and clean!

Works great for my well water that gets sand in system. No more clogged water nozzles.

A straight forward installation. Solid built. Good quality stainless filter scree. It is early to fully give my complete assessment on this device.

Works extremely well. My well is very messy with particles. But this filter catches them a lot. Only problem is that I have to replace these filters twice a month.

Nice idea having 2 cartridges in one like 100 and 50 mesh in a big container. Giving 4 star due to provided tricky “union” connectors to reduce main thread on the unit 1-1/4 MNPT to “1 MNPT and 3/4 FNPT“. It is hard to install it with leak proof and also it’s hard to find on the market some solid reducer 1-1/4 female to smaller size, to avoid using this “union” adapter.

Very solid build, top quality materials, base tap will purge any collected debris in seconds.
