Gets Job done but for how long?
Bought this to find angles in Human Joints while lifting weights and exercising to help understand the movements I teach to clients better. Didn't want to spend big bucks, so I got this but the plexiglass is pretty thin and flimsy. It'll serve its purpose and overall I'm happy with it but I don't see it lasting very long.

Functional Tool
This tool gets the job done. I am an Architectural Designer so I sometimes need to go to the field/site and measure existing or new properties. It helps me measure angles very quickly. Whether it is measuring building or masonry walls or odd angled properties. 7" Angle is made of light thin clear plastic but plastic seems to be pretty durable. I am sure there is many more applications for this tool. I plan to purchase the 18" Angle just because I want a more accurate measurement. Numbers are clear & wingnut helps lock in the angel desired or measured. The price beats the more professional grade metal angles ranging anywhere from $40-$120. I am not a carpenter or iron worker so this tool works well for my job. If you need to find angles quickly this is a good tool.

Not worth the Money!
Flimsy and cheap feeling. Hard to lock the angle and very hard to read. No more than 1/2 degree of accuracy. Should not cost more than a couple of dollars. Two pieces of flimsy plastic, held together by a brass wing-nut.Go with one of the metal, digital options, like the iGaging 15" Digital Protractor With 12" Rule. That is what I ended up buying, and totally loved it. Solid, metal, with large and easy to read digital readout.

Works well and its cheap.
It works well, and its cheap. What more do you want? Why do you need a digital reading - read the scale.

imprecise
The main problems with this angle finder stems from the nut that holds the two pieces of plastic together. The nut protrudes from the underside so you can't put the ruler flat against a surface which prevents you from drawing a straight line or getting perfectly lined up on the angle. The nut loosens as you change the angle so you have to keep tightening it. This tool is good for rough measurement for wood cutting perhaps but not for any sort of drafting where accuracy is important. It could probably be cheaper for the construction as well.

Works great!
The angle increments on my circular saw aren't quite accurate, which was driving me nuts. Bought this so I could properly set the angle. Works great, makes my life easier knowing I can make accurate miter cuts along the edge.
