Works right, good price...
This is a great trackball for the price. It seems well made and works fine. I hate it because my braincell believes that it is counterintuitive and refuses to be retrained. I have no complaint, but I'll have to buy something else.

good trackball
I used to buy another brand, but they only sell wireless trackballs and I prefer wired peripherals. This is pretty much the same as that other brand. It is working as it should, but as far a durability only time will tell and I might update this review. The led light is not an issue for me, it is not necessary, but it is also not intrusive. I like it overall.

Similar to Logitech, but half price
I have been using the right thumb trackball mouse for 10+ years, starting with wired Logitech, and then wireless ones. The wired Logitech one is my favorite, but unfortunately, it was discontinued, so I was forced to switch to a wireless one, which is more expensive, and battery-operated. The Logitech M570 and M575 are good, the only issue is that both did not last long enough. I have an office job requiring me to type and navigate the records all day, so technically, I use the mouse at least 8-9 hours daily. The Logitech Trackball mouse usually worked wonderfully for almost a year, then noticeably declined functioning, that right-click bottom no longer responded as it should, it would be hard to highlight phrases/sentences, insensitively with clicking, etc. I ended up buying at least one per year on average... My current Logitech Trackball mouse started acting weird again last week, I tried cleaning the ball, even opening the shell and cleaning inside the device, but it's still not working properly. I went on to Amazon and looked for a trackball mouse, and this one caught my eye because it's wired and only half the price of Logitech's, so I ordered one. Surprisingly, it works great, though it does feel a bit larger than the Logitech one, took me a few minutes to get used to it. Though the wireless one is more mobile, it does not matter to me. Since I don't move my laptop given two monitors hooked up to it for work, I like a wired mouse more as it does not require battery change. If you are like me, do not move your PC/laptop, the wired one is probably right for you, too. especially, it's half the price compared to the Logitech Trackball mouse. Since I can't predict how long it will last, I give it 4 stars for its price and functionality.

good
I’m really happy with this product so far. I like the size of the mouse, it’s on the larger side, which makes it comfortable for my whole hand to rest on without any awkward angles or grips. The easily accessible button on top is a great feature that lets you quickly adjust the cursor speed. However, it’s a bit too easy to press accidentally and change your settings. It would be nice if there were an option to hold the button down to activate that function instead of using a quick press. The textured finish on the top feels nice and helps prevent slipping, though I can see it collecting dirt over time. Overall, I’m very satisfied. It’s great to find a wired trackball with solid build quality and thoughtful design.

A Feature-Rich Upgrade to a Classic Design!!!
I purchased the PORLEI Wired Trackball Mouse to replace my trusted, long-serving Logitech trackball, a mouse I absolutely loved. I'm always hesitant to switch input devices, but I am thrilled to report that the PORLEI trackball has not only matched my expectations but exceeded them, becoming my new favorite mouse. It is just as comfortable and responsive as my previous model, maintaining the ergonomic thumb control that makes trackballs so superior for long work sessions. Beyond the core performance, this mouse is packed with new features, including customizable settings and vibrant lighting, which adds both utility and aesthetic appeal to my desk setup. The precision and smooth tracking are excellent and the added features genuinely enhance my workflow. This mouse was well worth the money for the combination of familiar comfort, reliable responsiveness and all the modern upgrades it provides. Highly recommended for any trackball enthusiast looking for a serious replacement.

Excellent bang for the buck
Updated: I liked it so much over the past 4 months, and I bought another. The trackball feels very smooth. The rubber feels nice and soft. The size is good for my big hand. Overall it's an excellent deal and seems like good quality. I like that it is corded. And I love it as two connections built in to the cord. A+

Okay unit, does a decent job.
Getting used to it after using a finger controlled one rather than a thumb controlled one took a little time, my one complaint, every so often it hangs up, the trackball won't track smoothly and have to finger click it to work, a little annoying.

I’ve been wanting to try a trackball mouse for some time now but have never been brave enough to give one a try. My current optical mouse has been giving me issues lately so when I saw this one available, I decided to give it a try. At first I thought it would be overboard for my needs since it’s primarily designed for gaming, but I quickly fell in love with it and don’t regret getting it at all! The wired mouse arrived in a small cardboard box with the instruction manual. The cord is nice and long and connects to your PC via a USB A plug. When I plugged it into my PC it was recognized immediately and I didn’t have to do any additional setup to get it to work. When powered, it has a nice line of multicolored lighting on it that really looks awesome in a dark room. If that’s not really your thing though, it can be easily turned off. At first I was very uneasy with the trackball! It’s a weird feeling when you’ve been used to moving the whole mouse around for decades and suddenly your brain has to be trained to leave it in one place. Luckily, the rubber pads on the bottom make it hard to move on most surfaces so you can train yourself out of the habit quickly. I first had to click the little button on the top to reduce the sensitivity, but after a few minutes I started getting used to using my thumb to move the mouse and was able to turn up the sensitivity quite a bit. If you’re a trackball expert, there are some really high sensitivity settings. As far as overall function, there are your usual left and right buttons, as well as a smooth scroll wheel that's also clickable. Although I don’t have any use for them at the moment, there are also two additional buttons next to the trackball that can be programmed for gaming or other software. If you’re looking to make the move to a trackball mouse, this is definitely a great starting point and I can definitely recommend it. So long as you’re good with the mouse being wired (it has a nice long cord), the quality is great and it’s very easy to use!
