Takes a little time to work out time settings for different materials but very effective.First good use engraving worn out numbers on cooker knobs.

This is a great item. Very easy to set up (once you realize the software is on the USB stick :-)). You can start using it within 10 minutes of receiving it. The glasses are a MUST. Although the glasses supplied "Do the job" I have purchased myself another pair that more comfortable as I found them uncomfortable after a while and MUST really wear them the whole time you are using the item "just in case" you turn and look in it's direction. This item is also not advisable for anyone under 18 years old. I would also recommend using in a well ventilated area, Unless when using wood you want the whole area smelling of burning wood or other burning smells.With the safety bit put to one side. It is very easy to use, just drop and drag and click on burn, its as easy as that.I was testing it out with 10 minutes with the practice piece of wood supplied with it. It does take longer than I though it would do, but putting this a side this is a brilliant item. Very good value for money and it arrived very well packet.I would highly recommend it, but please make sure you wear the glasses.

I am sooo pleased with the purchase.It arrived promptly in perfect condition. It is very easy to use .Start with power low you can always increase and hit re-carve button.Surprised at how much fun this thing is
