Just received the sparcker and it’s so great. I mainly purchased it to light candles and it does a great job so far. I really like that you can charge this lighter and it doesn’t run on fuel so it will last a lot longer than regular hand held lighters. Also, this company just offered a free two year warranty which is so great. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that I just received the product in the last week.

It’s overall a great product for the price. Would be nice to have a safety. I like it better than normal lighters.

This is an amazing lighter! I love my ("redwood") Sparcker AND I love Kay Brands great customer service! The indicator lights on the first lighter I received weren't illuminating correctly from the get-go (only two lights, no matter how long it charged). I immediately contacted Kay Brands through the Amazon portal. The company responded instantly and shipped me a new one on the spot at no charge. I received the new one within two days, and it is functioning perfectly, i.e. all 5 lights were illuminated when I opened the package! I really appreciate being treated as a valued customer; but besides that, the product is great technology. It eliminates the need for butane, and/or eliminates the waste of disposable lighters. Thank you Kay Brands! A+ experience and an A+ product!

The lighter works well, is easy to use, and is pretty (I got the bamboo color). I like how the safety feature works; you slide a button to "on" and then engage the lighter by pulling down the large silver tab. I think it would be easy to use for those people with arthritic hands, unlike the butane lighters which require you to press down hard on the safety button and then engage the trigger. I also appreciate that this is rechargeable and much more environmentally friendly than disposal butane lighters, or those that are refillable, but get gummed up and stop working after a few refills. The only thing I would add is more colors!

I bought it for candles. It can be difficult to get the wick between the two little posts. Which is a problem because if you hit the post it turns the little arc off and then it doesn't light the candle.I've had it just over six months. It will no longer charge.Would not recommend.

Love it! I burn candles a lot and felt like the usual liquid accelerant lighters I was using were wasteful. This is perfect! Rechargeable, easy to clean, fun to look at the sparks. Also nice that there is a safety lock.

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely LOVE my Sparker Electric Arc Lighter! I don’t know how I’ve managed without one. As a candle maker and lover of candles, this lighter is essential. It has a safety switch, USB charger, and is very safe! It lit my candle with ease and much better than traditional lighters. I will definitely be advising my customers to purchase this as well as I’m planning to purchase more as gifts/business giveaways.
