very bad quality changed my review to less than one star, I had few hours connecting the back camera, however I used the original sound and it has static not clear particularly when using the GBS. Also the screen clarity is average not that clear. I can’t return it because I spend too much time fixing the wire for the back camera. My car infotainment system is out of commission. A new part is coming, but it’s on back order. I purchased this low cost solution as a stopgap. It’s a situation of getting what you pay for. Let’s talk about the good first. It was easy to set up and has a nice sized screen. When it’s working it does everything I need it to do - I can listen to music and podcasts, make calls, listen to text messages, etc. The screen is also appropriately responsive to your touch. Some people have complained about the sound. It is plenty loud, if a little tinny sounding, but not much to complain about. Now, the bad. As you can see from the video, the glare and reflection on the screen is awful. I had to tilt the screen repeatedly on my evening commute in order to be able to view the screen. This isn’t an issue in the early AM hours or at night. I could work past this, but there is a connectivity issue that is worrisome. When my phone went to 1 or 2 bars, as it will on occasion, the connection was lost between the unit and my phone and took some time to reconnect. This isn’t much of an issue on a highway, but it’s a major issue on back roads where I really rely on the maps for directions as well as personal safety. Calls also drop during those times, impacting my ability to do my job as well as to feel safe. As a result of this connectivity issue I may send this product back. If you are concerned about the glare or connectivity I suggest looking into a more expensive but better product. If you can work past this, this is a very good priced buy.

All around I'm super happy with this, it works! It's amazing you can add CarPlay to your car for such a low price. 9/10 Pros: - CarPlay works! - Works with your car stereo audio - Easy set up - Adjustable viewing angle - No lag so far Cons/Things to Know: - The mount isn't working for me, it keeps falling off. I think it'd only work if your surface is super flat. I bought a new one for $10. - The sound starts off each time with just using the screen's speakers. You just have to turn off and on your car stereo & then it works with that. Not a big deal. - The backup camera seems incredibly complicated to set up with the wiring and the instructions and super minimal. Seems like a throw in that won't work for most people. I wish I could figure it out. - You have to change the brightness manually each time. You can't do this while in Carplay, so you have to go back to the main screen. Not a huge deal, but I do need to do this twice a day on my commute.

I can't believe this is so good for such a low price! I've been using a more expensive model for a couple years but didn't like using it because it used an aux or fm transmitter and no bluetooth to connect to the car audio. This unit was so easy to setup and connect to the car speakers via bluetooth. The screen is bright enough but in direct lighting conditions I can see the screen but wish it could be brighter. I like how the car's display shows the song that is playing. The other model I was using did not.

I got this on a deal, but even at regular price it's hard for me to believe this is real! Set up was a snap! Everything about it (instructions, menus etc) very clear, simple, and easy to understand. I had it up and running Android probably in seconds! What's cool is that if your car already has bluetooth (as mine does, but sadly no navigation), you can have your audio connected to your car's bluetooth, but use this to control playback. (for those w/o BT, it also has the option to playback through AUX or it's own speakers). Menus/touch screen is smooth and responsive (I expected something really clunky at this price point). I have not installed the backup camera yet. So I can't speak to that. Not sure if I ultimately will or not. It is nice that they include it, but it's still a value even if they didn't. My ONLY gripe is that the sticky stuff that they sent with it, does not hold. I have a textured dash, so that might be part of it, but it only held for about a day. I found something else to use, so not a big issue, but FYI.

This item is HORRIBLE. Both mounts are for show only. Only the long neck mount secured correctly. The audio glitches when there’s nothing wrong with it and is correctly connected. The screen glitches and moves slow. Calibration doesn’t work and only allows you to calibrate the top left corner of the screen. After connecting the first time to car play, it will say you’re not connected to car play on your phone but will play sound off the device/car even when your Bluetooth isn’t connected.
