Pest Patrol Rat Cage Trap

For anybody considering a purchase, these traps are well made, and have a very effective mechanism which is easy to arm and set. I would reccomend them easily, but be aware that the door spring is strong, so although they will catch rats easily and contain them, if you have small pets which could put their heads in for a look, if they activate the release, the door could, and more than likely will hurt them a lot. Be responsible, and keep your pets away. I purchased at a reduced price, I don't know if I would be happy paying 17.99 just to catch rats ???

Pretty good caught a rat after a few attempts need to keep the bait well back cage could do with being 2 or 3 inches longer all in all good buy doesn't catch mice they walk through the gaps in thewire

bait struggles to stay on the spike, arkward to attach. After 5 days of setting it i was in the garden when i heard it go off. Saw a young rat in there, rushed to get my gloves and a box and when i returned minutes later the young rat had escaped!!On examination there is a gap around the secondary entrance. Bad design fault so a waist of money.

This is well made and I can see no reason why it won't catch rats, except that I have yet to do so. I also have some of the old fashioned spring loaded rat traps that I use. So far it is 12 nil to the spring traps in terms of rats caught!

The Trap is simple to use & works well to capture squirrels alive so that they can be released in a suitable area away from the garden where they can be a real nuisance. Highly recommended

Happy with product but while out shopping seen same product for a lot cheaper I was gutted!!! Will shop around in future

If you have a rat problem then do not bother with this device as it does not work. the rat would have to be very slow and clumsy to set this trap off. so far the rat in my shed is having a great time feeding off the non working rat trap.

great trap very well made if you got a rat out in the garden this will catch him in no time
