FINALLY !!
My son has egg allergy. I've felt like he's been left out all his life. I got this and made it for him. He likes it. Don't use too much oil because then it was just super oily and everywhere. A little salt for taste was good. Texture....because I added too much water...it was a little too soft but....again....he found it to be agreeable to eat. I tasted it....it isn't straight up eggs but if you make for someone who never had it.....it is workable. Have not used it in recipes yet though. Otherwise happy to have ordered this product. I subscribed for the order so I can have it and not run out. Supposedly is shelf stable. Which can be a plus.

I was expecting JustEgg, but this was Just Not It.
I didn’t enjoy this at all. Even after seasoning it and putting in some avocado toast. It tastes like a squishy old boiled egg.I’m going to try it in some pancakes or baking, it’s probably perfect for that.

How much egg do I need, really
After experimenting with this product, I can make a great egg omelette in the microwave on a buttered/greased plate. I have not had success in fry pan, seems better for scrambled eggs. When baking, I eyeball a teaspoon and add some water to batter - works magnificent in all baked goods. Can not be used as egg wash so it has its limits, otherwise great product.

Decent Substitute
The first time I used it to make a soy chorizo and potato scramble. Even though it cooked up pretty easily and looks good, I have to admit it didn’t taste as good as the old Follow Your Heart Vegan Egg, which was my fave all-time plant based egg and I’n so sad they discontinued it. It also wasn’t as tasty nor anywhere nearly as easy to use as the liquid Just Egg. With the added spiciness of the soy chorizo, the Acre Made eggs were fine but I think as a veggie omelette it wouldn’t be great. For my next experiment, I made French toast. It turned out great! I wouldn’t say it has an “eggy” taste or anything but it coated the bread well and stayed put when I flipped it over much better than when I’ve tried using a home-made batter. My hubby enjoys the French toast with Acre Made, too, so I keep a bag in stock for making that on the weekends when we want a break from tofu scrambles. I like that its shelf stable, unlike Just Egg.

It’s not as good as Just Egg
As a vegan, I’m constantly on the hunt for the latest products. Eggs are probably the thing I miss the most. I followed the instructions on how to make these eggs. Then I tried it a few other ways as well. I was never able to make them look like they do on the package. They always came out mushy, and not fluffy. When I combined the eggs with sauteed veggies, they tasted fine but on their own, leave a bit to be desired. Overall, this egg substitute is fine but it’s not as good as Just Egg.
