I've owned this for over a year and it has been fantastic. Easily the best option in this category. No fussing with rechargeable versions that stick out of your console, the easily accessible controls are responsive and most importantly can be used without looking. Solid build quality with a nice braided cable. The microphone quality is good for hands-free calling, and the playback quality is excellent. The Bluetooth range is also very impressive, my phone frequently stays connected even when going into stores or home. I wanted it to be removeable/repositionable so I didn't use the included adhesive and instead opted for 3M Dual-Lock which has worked great.

I purchased this for my son's car, which is an older model with no bluetooth. He was using the aux port on his car to stream music from his phone. After multiple instances of the cord breaking, I did a little research to see if there was a device that could convert the aux port to a bluetooth connection. I found there were several out there and I liked the UGREEN design because of the button layout and didn't require the device to be charged. We installed it in seconds and it works awesome. The audio was excellent for both music and hands free calling. I would most definitely recommend this item as it was reasonably priced and does exactly what we needed it to do.

The line out is perfect, clear and at the same audio level as my radio meaning that i do not have to lower the volume before switching to another input or have my ears blown out. Also know that you can turn off the lights on the adapter. The media controls also work great, pressing the pause/play button does not accidentally trigger redial like most bluetooth adapters i have used. I have an iphone and if you know you know, the adapter does not pause and then resume another app, i can finally pause a podcast for more than 30 seconds without having it switch my phone to apple music and play a random song. It also just connects, every time i turn on my car it powers up and automatically connects without any help. Easy! The adapter also has the ability to connect to multiple phones at once but only play from one at a time. The microphone however is horrible, if i hold it up to my mouth, it is clear, but very quiet and so far if it is more than 5 inches away from my mouth, the other person cant hear me. There is also no siri functionality meaning that this adapter is mostly useless for handsfree. You cant say hey siri or push a button to have siri listen.

The last time I bought a bluetooth adapter for my 2013 Honda Fit was about 5 years ago, and since then the tech has gotten 1000% better. This inexpensive little gadget works perfectly. It connects to my phone within about 5 seconds of starting the car. Controls are easy and responsive. Sound through the stereo is just as good as a corded connection (or at least it sounds that way through my car's 11-year-old stock speakers). I've been told phone call sound is pretty clear, though how well the mic works and how much background noise it picks up depend somewhat on placement. The only negative is that you can't turn off the blinky rainbow lights that turn on when it's connected, which is a little annoying -- especially when it's dark out. But still, totally worth the money if you don't have built-in bluetooth in your car.

This does exactly what I need it to do. Good volume, sound quality, and easy to use. Durabilty seems good and comes with attachment hardware which is a plus!

Pros: - Auto connect is a great feature - Braided cable feels and looks high quality Cons - The buttons are LOUD, and do not feel nice to press, require a strong press and the click sound is not muffled at all (imagine clicking the lid from a vacuum sealed jar, except not satisfying) - Occasionally skips audio bits, happened a few times after setting it up - Rainbow light is useless and distracting, turned it off immediately (should have just dimly lit the buttons to see the controls instead) - No braille type markings on the buttons to make it easier to use controls without looking. - Device loudly proclaims “CONNECTED!!” when I turn on the vehicle and it, well, connects. Overall, the appeal of this device for me was the built in controls but the poor button build quality makes me not want to use them.

I am happy with the value this product delivered. It was very easy to set up in my Acura TL to replace the outdated factory bluetooth system. The device cable is about 3 feet long so it was the perfect length from aux and usb port to the placement on the dash. It came with two 3m adhesive double sided tape pieces that are cut to fit the back of the device perfect, and this allows you to place it pretty much anywhere the cord will reach. I jammed out in my driveway for about 15 minutes listening to my spotify thru the transmitter to hear the quality of the sound and it was great!! I have no complaints! Highly recommend

Update: the replacement for the original defective device was even worse that the original. What a complete waste of time. The second of these I received has no audio out, period. It doesn't produce any of the voice prompts for pairing, connected, etc. and doesn't output audio from a paired device. The first one had regular periodic dropouts in the audio from a connected phone/whatever, but this does absolutely nothing. Devices can see it and can pair with it, but it generates no sound. I have no idea what ugreen is playing at these days with their quality control, but this is absolutely not what I've come to expect from them; their stuff is usually better than this. --- I don't know if the one I got is just knackered, but this is far worse than the old doodad it was intended to replace. Once paired, audio from my phone is interrupted for a fraction of a second every couple of seconds, and this happens endlessly. I've had an equivalent no-name dongle for my massively outdated car for about 5 years. Its power cable god crunched recently, and it loses power if the cable is bumped. This ugreen device was on sale over black friday, so I figured I'd give it a go. The phone pairs to it as expected for an audio device. However, playing music from any app results in the same behaviour where the audio keeps getting interrupted every couple of seconds. This happens endlessly regardless of the app producing sound, and makes the device unusable. This happens regardless of distance between the phone and the "head" of the device. I expect to be able to use this with about a foot and a half or so between the phone and the head with no obstructions, but this happens regardless of distance, tested at various gaps of a few feet down to a few inches. The same thing happens at home when tested using a USB wall wart and my set of computer speakers, so it's nothing to do with the car environment. It's a shame, because ugreen makes my go-to USB-C cable (the ones with the handy right-angle connector on one end) and we have several of their chargers. They usually make good stuff, but this is just broken. Returning for a replacement to see if this is a one-off, review will be updated depending on how the replacement performs.

Highly recommended for those who dont have a deck with a screen. I used to have to plug in my phone to listen to music in my car. I also had to use my phone screen to pause or change the song. This was super annoying, particularly because I use a phone wallet and would need to unplug/replug my phone every time i went into a store. Now i just jump in the car and turn my keys, and the bluetooth connects within 5 seconds. I mounted the little controller next to my gear shift, so it is super easy to pause and change songs without taking my eyes off the road. The sound quality is good, and it was easy to set up. It initially played a whining sound through my speakers when there was no song playing, but I figured out that it was due to the USB plug I was using to power it. I tried a different USB power adapter in the cigarette lighter port of my car, and that solved the issue. Overall, I have been super happy with it and would recommend to anyone who is plugging their phone in manually to listen to music.

Funziona benissimo. Io ho una Fiat 500x e non ho il Bluetooth per ascoltare la musica, e con questo adattatore funziona subito e si collega all’istante al telefono.
