This is a thick, 100% wool scarf with a houndstooth pattern. The scarf does not include a tag, so any way that the scarf is wrapped will be correct. I used this scarf to cover my head and shoulders on a rainy day. The scarf is very thick and pliable for many wrapping styles. It also is quite warm since it is wool. I experienced minimal shedding of wool fibers with this wrap, so there weren't wool fibers all over my coat, clothes, and car. The only drawback is that because it's wool, it IS a little itchy, so this isn't recommended for someone that might be sensitive to wool fibers. The seams on this scarf is very clean and the quality is apparent. There wouldn't be any disappointment if you are looking for a wool scarf/shawl.I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.
