This is not a great brush. There is some shedding. The bristles are not even on the end. They're mostly straight, but they stick out different lengths. If you intend doing any detail work with these you will have to take a pair of scissors to them and cut the end to make it even. However, for the price this is a very good deal. I can deal with a little shedding and cutting the end of the brush to even it out - along with cutting off any stray non conforming bristles. I even cut it at an angle for finish work. I suppose you could paint a chair or something similar without modifying the brush. If you're painting the baseboard on your wall you'll need to modify the brush or you'll be cussing and swearing in frustration as bits of paint go where you don't want it to go. If used for water based paints go ahead and rinse it out and use it again. If using oil based products just use it and lose it. You've got a box full of 'em.

These were purchased to be used ro apply resin to fiberglass. They work excellently (except upside down, of course) in addition, we have used these brushes to apply epoxy paint in parts of bilges, and polyurethane paints in other areas. For the most partz they do not shed bristles.

I have found these to work great on my classic vehicles for applying chassis paint. Rust encapsulating paint cannot be cleaned from a brush, so these work great and just thrown away when done. I have also found them handy while painting my house, for primer and quick touch ups.

these are great for touchups and painting smaller items around the house. They can be cleaned and reused. But they are cheap and I don't mind throwing out any ones I couldn't get cleaned up.
