Hifonics BXX2000.1D Brutus Class D 2000W RMS 1 Ohm Mono Car Subwoofer Amplifier

Got this amp was hooked up to some dvc 12 in 4 ohm ground pounders down to 1 ohm. I just installed two American bass 12 elite dvc 4 ohm to 1 ohm sounds good but sound better after the new subs break in. Well worth it. I would definitely buy another one.

I took some time to leave a review because I wanted atleast a couple of weeks of long daily continuous play to see if it would burnout on me. I have been through alot of amps, but this one is truly interesting. It does not get extremely hot to the touch over long periods of playing(wow), but you cannot push it to max volume or it will cut off. Usually, amps will stay into protect mode for a while when this happen, this amp didnt for me. It will cut back on as soon as you lower the volume to the equal levels between the amp and your eq settings on your receiver. After I figured out the maximum equal level settings on my setup, it havent cut off again. Also the bass as not as deep as an Orion, but it's still above average though. So if you level it correctly, you will be able to play it all day without the worry of burnout or shutdown. For the money, its definitely worth it if you looking for a everyday driver amp.

Was definitely the wrong size, this amp is like 14" long not 19" like the description says

Couldn’t make it through half of one song before going into protect mode and having to turn the car off and on to reset it till it finally stopped resetting and stayed in protect mode. Glad I returned this and got the Skar SKV2 1500.1D. It actually creates 1500+ watts! The “2000 watt” Hifonics amp SUCKS. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

This amp is to powerful for my Kicker L7, gain is all the way down and still has hard hitting bass.

Good for a cheap van got about 1600 RMS out of mind
