Pretty Good + Not Pirated
Not damaged, not pirated, Pretty good. Though it could have been packaged a little more carefully, I didn’t have to deal with any book damage.

Great Book, But Disappointed with the Packaging
I was really excited to receive Betting on You by Lynn Painter, and I must say, the book itself is amazing! The print quality is excellent, and it's definitely an original copy. However, I was quite disappointed with the condition in which it arrived. The packaging was not secure enough, and the book had visible damage on the corners. For a book lover, this was a bit frustrating.I absolutely love the story and the quality of the print, but I really hope the seller improves their packaging to prevent such damage in the future. A great book deserves better handling!Thank you

Such a cute read!đź’“
I was in the mood for another Lynn Painter book, and this one was on my shelves, so I picked it up immediately. It was such a cute and fun read. Bailey and Charlie were relatable in many ways, and I really loved the character development they both had towards the end.The MCs first met in the airport, and although they had the worst first impressions of each other, I adore how they became best friends and became so in tune they are to each other’s feelings and thoughts. My heart ached for both the MCs regarding their family issues and I wish we could’ve also seen some more of Charlie’s family dynamics to understand him better but that’s okay since I love how he was always there for Bailey(which kind of showed us what kind of a person he really is🫶🏻). I didn’t like their fallout, but even then, I really enjoyed the way they made up in the end.The author’s beautiful writing also played a significant role in making me enjoy this book and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of the author’s works.

Painter's prose is imbued with authenticity and warmth,
When seventeen-year-old Bailey, begins working at a waterpark, she's dismayed to find Charlie, an old acquaintance, among her coworkers. Their initial encounter a year ago, on a flight to Omaha following her parents' divorce, left Bailey annoyed by Charlie's cynicism, which clashed with her composed demeanor. From the moment Bailey reluctantly reconnects with Charlie at her new job, the stage is set for a rollercoaster of emotions and unexpected twists. Bailey and Charlie's dynamic leaps off the page, with their banter and undeniable chemistry drawing readers deeper into their story. As they navigate the waters of their friendship, their personal family issues together, the line between platonic and romantic blurs, setting the stage for an interesting journey of self-discovery and growth.Bailey's steadfast determination to prove Charlie wrong about the possibility of platonic friendship between genders adds depth to their interactions, while Charlie's internal struggle with his growing feelings for Bailey adds an element of fun and the never lost charm of a clichéd reluctant friends to lovers story with a sprinkle of the 'fake dating' trope. However, amidst the charm and humor, the narrative occasionally feels weighed down by unnecessary subplots. While these diversions provide additional layers to the story, they detract from the central relationship between Bailey and Charlie, leaving readers longing for more focused development. Despite these minor flaws, "Betting on you" is a delightful read. Painter's prose is imbued with authenticity and warmth, making it easy for readers to become emotionally invested in the characters' journey.

i love romcoms so had to read this and it is also written by lynn painer whom i adore so much
Plot🌷The two characters,Charlie and bailey meet on a flight and initially dislike each other, but go through many events that help them develop themselves and each other. They also bond over their parents' divorces, changing family dynamics, and blended families. My review🌷this was such a cute book. i was giggling, kicking my feet in the air and laughing out loud. this was actually my second book by lynn painter and yet again, i loved it so much. her books are just so easy and quick to read. This book is full of jokes and sarcasm.there so many cute scenes in this one, that made me blushing for bailey!! first of all, he saw her reading a romance book and teasingly asked her to read it aloud to him and then they ended up reading it with each other which was freaking cute.also when she was tired, he carried her down a mountain. And my favourite part is,he wa as always there for her whenever, wherever she needed him. The way he always pretend that he doesn't love her but his actions always speak so much louder than his words because under all his teasing and sarcastic jokes, these romantic gestures showed how much he loved her.
