Perfect for hydroponic leds
I was looking for some kind of fixture to group four leds together to make a light that would replace my three old 125W CFLs. After looking at the "claw" extenders and deciding they were not electrically sound enough to hold four heavy "bulbs" I opted for light strings. However most string lights have ten or more sockets--way more than I need--so I stumbled on to this one. It claims to be for hydroponics and looks the part and it has four sockets--perfect! I ordered one and on receiving it carefully inspected the wiring and sockets. They are outdoor grade which is what I wanted even though my hydro setup is indoors. The string is rated for 100W which is no problem for four 15W leds and it can be daisy-chained. It turned out the string is a perfect match for my Sansis. I built a somewhat clunky but workable fixture using 2" PVC pipe and the wiring tolerated my manhandling. So far it has held up with no signs of overheating or other problems. This heavy duty string is perfect for led.

Works as expected.
Couldn’t find this item in stores. Great price and works exactly as expected. Very heavy duty and sturdy. Nail holes near each socket help to keep the wire in place. Very happy.
