Purchased a pair of these lights for either side of a king size bed. Very stylish and functional. Tap the light for on and off, tap and hold to dim or brighten. This light must be hard wired and requires some mechanical and electrical skills to install. If you cannot do that then hire a handy man. Mounted mine next to a light switch so I could easily pick up the power line, note: the wall switch is not for turning the light on and off , just a convenient point to attach for power. Instructions could be better, but okay. Once installed it's a five star.

Liked the design, but our electrician wouldn’t install it as it Doesn’t conform to code for installation. had to return two of them.

How do you legally mount this unit. It is too small (2.25 inches mounting holes) for a electrical fixture box (3.5 inches). And there is no hole for a power cord. While this unit looks nice and would be functionally useful if it could be properly mounted easily. I had to put an electrical box in the wall. And make a wooden plaque to cover the box and give a nice looking solid working mount for this unit. Way more work then this is worth. You could make the base a 4 inch diameter that cover the size of a standard electrical fixture box. Or you could put a hole in the base for a power cord.

My husband mounted these on our headboard. The heads of our bed raise up individually, so we can each adjust our light to shine on our books when we read. Love the touch feature -- works great. It also has a very faint glow (where you need to touch), so it makes it easy to see in the dark. These work fabulous for our purpose. Good brightness.

This lamp wasn't too bad but we returned it because we noticed it turning on and off on its own. Not sure why and didn't want to chance some sort of short circuit. The other thing we didnt like about it is the touch switch is only the top portion part just above the circle base. So the base where the plug comes out of is not touch sensitive. This made it difficult us to reach at night based on where we mounted it above our heads. The light does have a dimming feature. You have to touch the sensitive area and keep your hand pressed down on it as it will cycle through the various lighting adjustments. Overall Id say it was a good value for the price compared to other offerings on here.

I bought two of these, one for my wife, one for myself, and we love them. They're sturdy, they dim, and they're super easy to turn on and off. Buying some for our kids now.

Ordered two of these. One works fine the other is defective. The led flickers and is faint compared to the other. Started a return. Got a refund, then was sent a return label. POSTAGE DUE to China. WHAT???? In the meantime I ordered a replacement for the defective one. The first two took about two weeks to come. Its now been more than two weeks and no tracking information. I don't have an option to cancel the order. My advice is: if it gets shipped from China don't buy it.

Bought 8 of these for use in Airbnb, brand new units. Had them installed by licensed electrician. They simply do not work!They would stay on or not turn on at all. They would go off and on by themselves, without touching them.Useless and a waste of money. I had to buy in advance of electrical work and the return window expired before I got them installed.Avoid these!
