Best lactase product that I have tried
Lactase drops are sold by several other companies including Pharmax, Seeking Health, and Disolact. Disolact and Pharmax are no longer carried at the stores where I originally found them, which leaves Seeking Health and Lacteeze. I have used both and found both to be effective when used as prescribed on their labels. A quick comparison reveals that Lacteeze is a much better buy. Seeking Health --------------- 56 drops/gallon $31/oz Lacteeze ----------------- 18.5 drops/gallon $18.73/oz The two variables in treating milk are number of drops and time for the drops to work before consuming milk. After experimentation with both variables, I found 15 drops and 48 hours to be the best compromise for me. This product was amazing for me, as it allowed me to GOMAD. I highly recommend Lacteeze drops. Edit: Those numbers didn't seem right, so I checked my Lacteeze bottle. It is .24 oz, so Amazon's math for $18.73/oz is definitely not correct. The correct price per ounce should be ~$48. Assuming the drop sizes are the same, Seeking Health treats 11.75 gallons and Lacteeze treats 35.6 gallons per ounce of product when used as directed. So it would take 3 oz of SH ($93) to treat as much milk as one ounce of Lacteeze (~$48). Update 11/27/12: Thank you, Amazon! Now offered in the 15.5 ml size- a much better deal: Lactase Enzyme Lacteeze Drops 15.5 ml Liquid by Gelda Scientific

It works
This is the first brand/type of lactase drops I have purchased, and I just came back to Amazon to buy a second bottle. I use these for my lactose-intolerant 3 year old daughter, and they work great. Like other people have said, you need to find the right dose and amount of time to treat the milk that works for you. For us it's 9 drops per 1/2 gallon, and 36 hours. My daughter tolerates this just as well as Lactaid milk, and now I can buy store-brand milk at a much lower cost. She drinks a lot of milk! :)

Ok
I think this product is OK. It did not help my problem with milk. But it could be just my system.

Works perfectly!
I’ve used Lacteeze for years with great success. I use it mostly in yogurt, but because it’s thick, I let it sit for 2 days. I’ve used in it heavy cream and homemade ricotta (easy & quick!).

Small but mighty
My daughter is extremely sensitive to lactose. She has tried all the pills out there to no avail. I wanted the lactaid drops because she has had good luck with their milk, but I couldn't find them anywhere in the US. I even tried going to the pharmacy, but even they couldn't get them. I read some reviews that people wrote saying that they liked the lacteeze so I decided to try them. The first time I used the recomended amount and she still had some problems, so we upped it to 30 drops to a gallon on milk. She has to let that sit for 48 hours, but after that she has no problem at all. The bottle was a lot smaller than I expected when I ordered it, but one bottle still treated 5 gallons of milk. That made the cost less than buying the lactaid milk. Over all we were very pleased with the lacteeze and will buy them again.

At last! Lactase drops that work!!!
Like other lactose intolerant people, I used to buy Lactaid drops, but back in 2001 the company took them out of the American market (don't know if they are available in Canada). Lactaid milk is OK, but won't address the needs of those who need to treat, say, evaporated milk for certain recipes. Lacteeze does. Hint: keep it in your refrigerator (do not freeze) to preserve potency and usefulness. Next time I'll probably buy more than one bottle... BTW, the manufacturer also makes this product in 15ml bottles. I'd love it even more if Amazon sold it in that size.

Worsen the symptoms
It didn’t help at all and worsened the baby’s diarrhea symptoms straight after the first day of try!
