The best guitar tuition you will ever see - at a great price
I can't believe I am the first person to review this DVD! No wonder Eric never seems to do UK gigs - when so comparatively few people seem to have heard of him....I have been mesmerised by this video since 1992 (I am assuming the DVD is exactly the same - picture and sound should be much better of course) when I first picked it up at a guitar show in Manchester. I paid [...] for it then, so this DVD is at a bargain price for sure.Eric takes you through the whole gambit of styles - everything from Hendrix to Clapton to Jerry Reed to Chet Atkins. His technical ability really is mindblowing and even after all these years watching it I am still aghast at the way he can move so effortlessly from Keith Richards rock 'n' roll licks to a wonderful warm Wes Montgomery octave fill. And the sounds he gets from that '54 strat..... totally incredible. If you are into pop/rock/country guitar then I cannot recommend this more highly. Eric has all the bases covered and, at this price, it's a no brainer.

Unlimited inspiration from Mr. E. J. esq.
I first bought this on VHS more than 12 years ago and wore it out!Every time I watch it now on DVD it motivates me to improve and listen again to those Players who influenced EJ as well as me.The format is as relaxed as it can be , nearly like he is in a one on one with you that can be absorbed and remembered every time that my Strat is bought out.If you are looking at this as a shortcut to being a great player - forget it! If you want to be inspired to be a better player - get this and keep it with your desert island music - it is that good.

A true master at work
From an era when any poodle haired tuck-in boot merchant got to share his guitar 'secrets' this one stands head and shoulders above the crowd.
