Amazon Basics Mechanic's Socket Tool Set With Case, Metric Sizes, 145-Piece

Surprisingly good tool set! I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these, most sets of these tools are double or triple the price at least. So when I got my set I was very pleasantly surprised. Quality feels on par with modern Craftsman and the variety of tools is great! I bought this as a trunk tool set to keep in my classic car and I think it'll hold up great for that. I did not have any issues with all the tools falling out like some other folks, but I would say definitely be cautious when you opening it as I could certainly see that being an issue.Overall, as a backup set of tools or a light duty set this is absolutely perfect. And I think it hold up just perfectly for what I need.

Perfect for any hobbyist mechanic who needs a decent set of tools. The case is nice and sturdy, with two metal latches on the front and one snap latch on each side. The case grips the sockets and tools exactly as it should, so you won't end up opening it and a third of your tools end up on the ground. The teeth in the sockets seem to be able to handle quite a bit of pressure. I've beat these things to hell and they don't feel lose or have issues ratcheting. Overall, a decent kit and it has all the essentials for easy mechanic projects!

I received my 201 Piece socket set and two sockets were missing when I opened it. I called Amazon customer service and they refunded me a percentage of what I had paid for the set.Luckily I don’t use the metric sockets often. I haven’t used these tools yet but they seem to be a good buy for what I paid for them.
