Vintage Visage 1940s Wrap Over Apron Sewing pattern- full size paper pieces

The pattern is easy to understand and the instructions have been updated in some areas as it is copied from the 1940s. I wasn't aware that is is made up of scrap material though and had to put all the pieces together to make it up out of one piece of material. I have made other items using the basic pieces. I absolutely love this pattern and its provenance. Good quality (full size) reproduction on substantial paper; excellent and clear instructions and a smashing bit of historical information thrown in for good measure. I'm going to make this overall as presents for everyone I know - getting into the spirit of the thing by asking them for materials and mixing and matching if I can. Great service from the seller.

I needed a 1940s apron for one of my dance costumes and this was perfect. I made the apron from a single duvet cover and had more than enough of it left to make a turban to go with it. I have quite a lot of experience at sewing and found this quite easy to make. I think the instructions would be good enough for the less experienced.

a simple to follow pattern, well packaged and with clear instructions. This is ideal for creating the look for a 40's event. It also arrived promptly in a card backed envelope and was in a clear plastic bag. Illustration is appropriate and including a customers version was a nice touch

Pattern very expensive for what it is.....I expect you pay for the authenticity but all else was good, the delivery etc.

I have just made a version of this from left over curtain material. It was dead easy, satisfying, and I am delighted with the result. I shall make another one very soon. Thank you
