Hard to build, missing pieces!
For a relatively expensive model this is terrible. The bags of pieces are all muddled up so it’s really hard for a child (or anyone!) to sort through all the pieces, which are all dark grey, to find the correct one. The images in instructions are really hard to see so it’s difficult to see which pieces are needed where. If that’s not enough there are lots of pieces are missing! Several of them on the outside of the plane so they really show. My son spent hours trying to build it but is gutted that after all that he doesn’t have a nice looking model to display.

Amazing set
It is by far the best fighter jet set they have released so far. It's larger, sturdier, and more accurate than any of the previous sets. Cobi could have easily made the leading edge of the wings with sloped trapezoid-shaped bricks like with recent sets, but they went above and beyond and used cleaver beams hinged at 45 degrees. The extra dark paint job is my only gripe about this model, but other than that, I will take this over any other jet they have.

Fun Lego alternative
After seeing a F22 in person, I decided I wanted to add one to my collection of Legos. This is my first Cobi brand build, but the set is just as good as Lego and it feels solid. It was easy to follow along (no weird steps) and looks great on display. Pretty fairly priced for a set of its size. The pilot is a little weird looking though.
