GEN-U-BIN Storage System for Buddy (Black Color)

Hey all of you Genuine Buddy Scooter riders I bought this for my Mothers birthday she has a Genuine Buddy "Storm Trooper"(The Pearl White color) Buddy 125 She loves it she has enough storage space to put some bungiee cords, a wrench for her merriors, a par of sun glasses, She can store her Bottle of water. This is a great buy and it installs in less then 15 minues all you need is a simple screw driver. and for only $45 dollars total you cant go wrong, So if you dont have a Gen-U-Bin . Or a scooter at all Call Genuine scooters and find your local dealer. and if you do have a Genuine Buddy scooter Go for it, you will most likely LOVE this product Scooter works USA is Genuines #1 seller of parts and accesories check them out and find your new accessory to your favorite mode of transpertation I know I love my sccoter and so does my Mother. Please note that the Gen-U-Bin may not work on the Genuine Stella, Genuine Rattler, or Genuine Rough House I think it is only designed for the Genuine Buddy scooter.

Didn't like it at first, because It seemed to waste all the space. The "glove box" part is tiny, I don't know how anybody could keep sunglasses or anything larger than a phone or wallet in there. Then realized that more space is not necessarily better, if things are bouncing out of the tray or blowing away. If I want to store things more long-term for emergencies, I can put them under the setup. Don't see how this could possibly fit any other kind of scooter, as it is specifically made for the Buddy. Although I took a star off because it was made for the Buddy, and the corners flair out, not matching up correctly/perfectly. The lip and gap should be tailored to the space better.

This works well, but you lose a lot of space when you install this insert. No longer can I carry a large drink because the cup holder isn't big enough, nor my gloves because they don't fit in the coin compartment. I returned it (with no problems) and went back to being to fit my gloves, a large drink, my iPhone 6 and a few other odds & ends without it. It also blocks access to my 12v, another reason to return it.

this popped up under me searching for my Taotao scooter accessories. It said nothing about scooter specifics. It did not fit my scooter. Waste of money

Works as advertised in my Buddy 170i; the lidded compartment is large enough to hold my Galaxy Note 3 (5.7" display, roughly 6" x 3" overall in size). My only complaint is that you lose some structural support and the lidded compartment won't open all the way if you want to use the bag hook.

This thing is really handy...I just got it, so I haven’t had an opportunity to discover whether the smaller space will bother me, but I purchased it so my bin wouldn’t become damaged from putting things in there, not wanting a bunch of scratched up plastic. I’d give it five stars, but honestly, despite what others said, I HUGELY disagree about it being easy to install. The little screws and plastic bit that fit onto the rim of the current bin are SO hard to keep in place while you screw them in. I purchased this to prevent damage to my storage bin on the actual scooter, but I’m fairly certain that all I did was thrash it trying to get the hooks to properly fasten under that lip. Likely wouldn’t recommend to someone else for that reason, I think it will ultimately damage your plastic, but other than that, it seems great. Bag hook definitely will not work well either, despite the fact that “you can still use it,” this is technicality. Seller shipped my item RIGHT away and it arrived much much faster than I expected or other things I have ordered from amazon...so that is a huge plus. They sent installation instructions, but the quality is poor so it’s hard to see...if you have bad vision I’d try to find an online copy. Overall...good product.

This was a Christmas gift for my Grandson that he had on his Wish List. He was very happy to have received it and happy with the product. .

It's a great concept, but didn't fit as snugly as I'd like.
