Vinyl Cleaning Fluid & Microfiber Towel - Record Washing Solution (200ml Spray Bottle) | Record Rescue

Been collecting for years and have used everything from standard record cleaning fluid, water and soap, laundry detergent, alcohol, windex and/or a combination of both. Thought about buying a "spin clean" machine but I tried this after reading the positive reviews and noticed it contained ZERO alcohol and dried quickly ......... RESULT: This magic fluid is amazing, better than any concoction I can whip up. Comes with a nice Micro Fiber cloth, which I have put through the wash/dryer without fail. Been cleaning valuable records without hesitation and always see and hear the results. You will always get a beautiful sheen and will help take the dust and grit out of the grooves. Get a brush to wipe the massive dust away before cleaning, stand back and be impressed!! Let the grooves spin and boogaloo the music!!!

So far, so good. I've cleaned maybe 20 records so far and this seems to work well. I've definitely noticed less noise when listening, and no scratches on the vinyl. The included microfiber towel is decent and I appreciate that they chose white so you can see the dirt and know when the cloth needs to be washed. I'm using this with the mobile fidelity record brush and it is a great combination.

I've been holding off writing a review because I actually like to use a product before I claim to have am opinion about how well it works. Here's the good news, this product works. It actually cleans records. The question is, how well does it clean them? I would say it's better than most but not as good as others. Now I'll admit that the other better methods are much more expensive and more laborious, but if you want a good quick cleaning this is a good product. But if your objective is getting heavily soiled records to play with very little noise, "Record Rescue" doesn't quite hit the mark. However, I'm keeping my can of "Record Rescue" because I'm sure it has a place in my cleaning regiment. Probably for lightly to modestly soiled records that need more than a quick clean with a brush. But heavily soiled records will need a good wet cleaning or two. Bottom line is that for only $10 you can't go wrong so I'd recommend you give this product a try.

The purchase of a new AV receiver sparked a renewed interest in audio! After spinning a few records I stopped to think and realized that my Discwasher fluid is several decades old. Since it does not consist of wine, it probably does not improve with age (not much left in the bottle anyway), so I purchased some of this stuff. I'm very happy with the result. I mist the Discwasher brush (as opposed to spraying on the record) and it does a great job of cleaning up my aging vinyl. Highly recommend this stuff!

I have some old LPs that have been packed away in storage for decades, and had recently brought them out to play on a new turntable. A few of them I noticed had quite a bit of static - just pulling them out of their sleeves seemed to generate static electricity, not to mention hearing what sounded like dirt and or static in the grooves. I bought this product based on existing reviews, turns out I was happy with the results of using this vinyl cleaner. I can't really say how this compares to other vinyl cleaners out there on the market, so take my review at face value. The only gripe I have is that the instructions for use are printed on the container in white typeface against an orange background. My 50 year old eyes, even with my readers, struggled to make out the words. Granted, this product is fairly self-explanatory, however, the manufacturer does offer a distinction between light cleaning and heavy cleaning uses of their product. All-in-all a great product and a good value.

There's plenty of fluid in the bottle to clean a lot of records. I had some really dirty thrift store purchases that looked like they'd never been cleaned, but the fluid and wipe did a great job. Even after doing double cleanings on some, there's plenty of fluid left. The fluid seems to gather on the surface of the record where there are heavy finger prints or smudges. I like that because it tips you off to where you need to focus first and most. I'll buy more when I eventually run out.

The pump bottle is easy to use and the micro fiber towel works well. I (out of habit) also use an applicator from a past product. Most important here is the nozzle for pumping the fluid. It dispenses a "mist" which is fine for cleaning, but also saves fluid. I recommend this product.

I've used this product before and had no issues with it. The problem I have now is with the pump sprayer. When I get it to work, the fluid shoots out in a stream to the right of where I'm pointing instead of a mist as it should. This creates a problem for the cleaning process and wastes a lot of the fluid.

I liked this product for cleaning my older records, as well as new ones. This "Vinyl Cleaning Fluid & Microfiber Towel" works very well, and the thing I very much prefer is that it is free of alcohol. I have found that alcohol can cause a bit of damage to vinyl, and it is certainly a good thing that there are manufacturers who make a record cleaning product that does not include alcohol; and still works, and cleans records very well. In my case I used the Deep Cleaning method. Plenty of this record cleaning solution even though its price is a bit high up here in Canada; so I listed it as four out of five stars. That "Ease of use", and Ease to remove", I gave five out of five stars. Furthermore, I have also used it with separate micro-fibre towels for first cleaning on older records, then I wipe with the, "Microfiber Towel" that is included with the Record Rescue kit.

I think it works pretty well. Records sound better after cleaning with this.
