Pricey, but soft and quality comparable to cheaper versions
The material is good quality - velcro straps are broad (making it snug and tight) , the casing is stretchy (hence comfortable). Looks clean and feels soft. So initial impressions are nice - albeit pricey. There are many cheaper ones (we happened to try, read below). After a few weeks or months of usage I will be looking out for worn velcro strap - which I assume could be the one point of failure in ankle weights. In case it is unreasonably quick to fail, I woul come back here to downgrade the 5 stars that I think this product is as of now. We tried snother, cheaper item from Amazon, as we also needed a heavier pair of ankle weights (or so we thought). Unfortunately that pair was made of cheap plastic type material for pouches and rough uncomfortable casing and velcro.

Great for leg injury recovery
These have been essential for me. I had knee surgery and have had to incrementally increase weight for certain leg lifts as I recovered. I started with just one pound and now have all 5 pounds loaded. Being able to change the weight as I went has been awesome.
