Amazing axe make splitting lots of wood easy
This makes splitting wood incredibly fast and physically easy.Tips: Find yourself a couple tires and a chopping block to use a base like in the videos. Use the technique of circling the wood, removing flakes from the outside. Allow your grip to loosen as the axe turns after contact, to lever your piece of wood off the stump.I have been to Finland and appreciate the fact that this is innovative Finnish design, and probably better steel than we see in most tool made in the US.I do hope the cost on these comes down over time, but I think it is worth it at the high price. The shoulder surgery I had was a lot more than this.I wish it had a wooden handle option. That would feel more Finnish to me. Less plastic in the work world is a good thing.

Happy husband
I surprised my husband who'd seen this item on Pinterest, and he was delighted to have an implement that performs as good or better than his axe/maul/wedge combo. I've seen him use it for splitting logs a number of times, and it appears to be weighted properly and handy to use.

Does this company stand behind their product.
I purchased for my son last Christmas. He loved the wood splitting axe. My problem with this item is the handle broke off at the axe head and I cant get in touch with the company to get a new handle so the axe is useless. If anyone know how reach someone let me know. [email protected]

Leveraxe Classic MX Splitting Axe
The leverage splitting axe performed as advertised. The axe was used to split hunting camp firewood. Maximum diameterof the wood being split was 8" - 10".

Fine, just under-impressed.
Just does not do the job like demonstrated in promos. Maybe too light weight? Doesn’t split any different than my other axe.

Meh...good idea but it seeks pretty picky
This axe is not sharp. It uses blunt force to knock shards of wood off the log. It might work with completely seasoned dried wood but if you are used to a razor sharp axe as a cutting tool this is quite a change. Ill stick to my fiskars.

Goofy Axe
It took a few swings to get used to this axe but once I did i really liked it. It does what it says. I have back problems and tendonitis in my arm so swinging my 8lb maul is taxing. I considered spending the money for a hydraulic splitter but looked for other options first. Found the lever axe and for the price I split for an hour or so after work today without any pain. I am a fan. It does have limitations though. Anything with lots of knots will still need a maul or wedge but the lever axe certainly earned its place in my garage.

Great new design
Works with far less effort than a standard axe
