I AM SO SORRY ITS TAKING ME SO LONG TO WRITE THIS REVIEW ON THIS ACCUBOWGUY'S AND GAIL'S AND KID FRIENDLY TRAINING BOW YALL THIS IS A HECK OF A GREAT PRODUCTALL MY FRIENDS THAT BOW HUNT HAVE BORROWED IT SINCE I HAVE GOT IT ITS EASY TO USE EASY TO INSTALL THE APP ON YOUR SMART PHONES OR DOWNLOAD THE APP TO YOUR SMART TV THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST TRAINING BOW ON THE MARKET IN MY OPPIONHERE ARE A FEW THING MYSELF AND BUDDIES LOVE ABOUT ITIT'S EASY TO TRANSPORT TO AND FROM PLACES THE LIMBS FOLD UP FOR EASY OF STORAGE AND TRANSPORT THE TENTION BAND IS VERY EASY TO DAIL IN YOUR POUNDAGE THAT YOU SHOOT ON YOUR HUNTING BOW THE APP IS JUST A KICKER IT HELPS TO BECOME A BETTER SHOT AND HELPS YOU BE ABLE TO HOLD YOUR BOW STRING AT FULL DRAW LONGEROH AND ANTHER THING I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY RIGHT SHOULDER SINCE I GOT HURT BACK IN 2018 I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO DRAW MY COMPOUND BOW BACK BUT SINCE GETTING THIS TO REVIEW I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SLOWLY START BUILDING UP MY STRENGTH BACK UP TO HOLD THIS BOW BACK I H STARTED AT 30 LBS DRAW WEIGHT AND HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE IT TO 55LBS IN JUST OVER A FEW MONTHS WITH JUST A FEW TURNS OF THE DRAW WEIGHT BAND STRING I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY RESULTS BY USING THIS ACCUBOW TRAINING BOWOH DID I TELL YOU ALSO IF YOUR KIDS WANT TO START SHOOTING A BOW THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST TRAINING TOOL FOR THEM ALSO THE DRAW WEIGHT IS VERY VERSIBLE FROM 10-70 POUNDSJUST THE SHORT TIME I HAVE BEEN USING THIS BOW I HAVE DEVELOPED SOME OF MY MUSCLE MEMORY BACK AND INCREASED MY STAMINA AND STABILITY AND BULINDING UP MY STRENGTHALL MY BUDDIES LOVE IT ALSO I BELEAVE A FEW HAVE BOUGHT THEM ONE FOR THEM AND THEIR KIDSTHIS IS BOW USES RESISTEACE BANDS SAME BANDS THE THE PRO BASEBALL PITCHER USE TO BUILD UP THEIR SHOULD MUCSLE I ALSO HAVE BEEN USING THESE BANDS FOR MY SHOULDER AND UPPER BODY SO WHEN I OPEND UP THE BOX AND SEEN THIS ACCUBOW ALSO USES THESE BANDS I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH IT AND THE ABILITY TO START AT A LOW POUNDAGE AND TIGHTEN AS I TRAIN ON IT WAS A BIG SELLING POINT FOR METHIS COMES WITH DETAILED INSTRUCTION ON THE PACKAGE SO WHEN YOU BUY IT DO NOT THROW AWAY THE PACKAGE IT TELLS YOU HOW TO DETERMINE YOU DRAW WEIGHT TO MATCH YOUR DRAW LENGHTAS YOU HAVE READ IN THIS REVIEW I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE ACCUBOW TRAINING SYSTEMAND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ALL YOUNG AND OLD BOW HUNTERS AND BEGENIERS

TL/DR: I feel a bit bad rating this 1 Star; the product does mostly what It claims to do, but Amazon ships this broken (both times the phone mount was broken, the first time the bottom ltch also broke).So, when I first recieved the item, I downloaded the app and tried it out. The app's accuracy was questionable at best. This may be due to my phone, may be due to me being out of practice (though you'd think a deer 5-10 ft away you'd not shoot 3 feet over it), or due to the broken phone mount post. It uses sound and the phone's accelerometers to determine the shot location. I imagine the broken phone post on the phone mount allows for more motion than intnded, and may also add some extra noise that the app picks up, both contributing to the app misreading the shot. So I can't fully rate the app itself, due to the damage.When I realized the post was snapped off at the base, I contacted Amazon. They wanted me to just send it back and they'd ship a new one. Okay, fine, sounds great. When I at least explored the poundage adjustments, I noticed that the latch on the bottom was half broken; when I folded and reopened the bow, the latch fully broke when trying to lock the bow open. I figured this may have been due to whatever abuse the bow took when shipped (shipped in a box far too large for it, and was barely packed with some paper tpo protect it, it coming on a piece of cardboard intended to hang in a sporting good's store.The reship arrived today. Same large box with some paper, but this time it had a smaller cardboard box from accubow (not intended for display). Opened that and... post borken in same location. Contacted the company, as I fear that Amazon will only have me engaged in an endless 'ship us back the bow, and we'll ship you another one with a busted post' game (Andon Cord much?).The bow itself seems to work well for dry-fire training (resistance bands mean the whole thing isn't going to explod on you, the bit of string in the middle is a bowstring so traditional archers can feel it for real, the poundage can be increased as advertised, etc.).So, other than plastic painted to look like carbon fiber latching it open, the bow itself is fine. The app may or may not be any good (can't tell how much the broken post contributed to the app not wortking well for me), and you will be shipped a bow with a broken post via Amazon. SO, 1 Star... the company sells them directly, and maybe they ship them better, who knows, but from Amazon, whent he replacement has the exact same issue, 1 Star.

A fun and effective off-season or rainy day training tool. There’s no let off as on a compound bow so the strength training is challenging and useful. Similar to using a recurve. I have worked my way up from 40 ish pounds to 65 ish pounds. The videos on the Accubow website are very helpful In developing an effective training regiment. The app is fun but needs some work. I recommend this product for anybody who needs to strength train or recover from an injury. By the way customer service is great as well. The laser on my bow wouldn’t turn off I contacted customer service and they had a new one in the mail to me the same day that I made the complaint! The bow is very solidly built and well designed especially the 2.0 version. Works great with a D Loop and my trigger release. The upshot is after using this product for a little over two weeks daily I am finding that I am much more steady in my draw and hold on my compound bow. I can also send more arrows down range in a given session almost doubling my previous number of shots.

Long time archery hunter, bought it for the family to break into a little at home simulation fun and maybe learn along the way. The device is what it is and it is pretty cool, but the app is terrible. For the price of these training aides, there needs to be updated software that doesn’t dry-fire, mis-fire, or no fire even after following all directions and adjusting sensitivity sensor repeatedly. A couple app updates and this is 5 stars for sure.
