I have this right next to my sink. I use it for dish drying, my water pitcher and more.The pattern is nice. I was worried the pattern would look fake, if you know what I mean, but It looks really good on my white counter and actually adds to the esthetic of my kitchen. I love not having water puddles next to my sink or a dish cloth laying next to the sink. It just looks cleaner, less cluttered.I did have to rinse it off because it was pretty dusty right out of the box. I just rinsed it with warm water, put a little dawn dish soap on the sponge, scrubbed it a little on both sides, rinsed it again and laid it on the counter.It’s definitely one of the most useful things I’ve purchased for my new apartment.I’m really happy with this purchase.
