Leather Magic
Simply put: If you have leather and no mink oil, you're wrong.Of course, you may have leather products without the use of mink oil, but that ownership would be like having a piece of bread before the invention of peanut butter - tragic times.I don't know the differences between the available brands off the top of my head, but the Redwing name is revered among my Alaskan people. They make the kind of products you dont want to wear outside because they're sexy, and then you do and they get sexier, and then you oil them up to a peak of sexiness, and then you leap off that peak into your jeep, and the Angel's sing Hallelujah.Yeah, Redwing products are a nobrainer.

Rub it on your face to help create acne.
Works as expected. Solid quality. Great price!I use this for my boots and my leather couch. It is awesome and doesn't stink. Plus it is easy to apply. I just rub it on with my fingers/hands and work it into the leather. It cleans off pretty easy but requires a little scrubbing and some sacrificial paper towels. Great stuff!

A++ Brought old leather back to life and protected new leather.
This product brought old leather back to life! This old leather bag was much the worse for wear, but after a thick coat of mink oil, it is supple, shiny, soft, moisturized and the color is richer and deeper - so beautiful! This product also helped hydrate and waterproof my Born boots and Hobo purse. The boots are supposed to be black, but had turned grey-ish and looked dried out. The mink oil gave them a subtle sheen and deepened the color back to a rich black. Also took out some visible scratches. I would caution to be conservative with how much mink oil you apply as it can feel sticky or gummy the next day, but after an additional day, the product soaked in. I brushed it into the shoes with a horsehair brush, but did not need to do this with the old bag because the leather was so thirsty that it drank up the mink oil quickly, even after I had applied a thick coat! This is a great product.

Good clear leather treatment for color leather. Can deepen its color in some cases
I found this oil when I was looking for safe leather treatment that is clear and would not alter a color of my items. I used it on my leather purses, shoes and belts. It did the trick. It looks like oily gel that melt in in leather when rubbing it. It has pleasant scent. It can get oily if you put too much of it. I took an excess with soft fabric. This oil really reinforced for my old boots. I washed them with leather soap and leather became dried and felt on touch like a paper. The oil went into wrinkles and made boots glossier, sturdier and more weather proof. As far as color goes, it didn't change color of my beige shoes, but my brown ones received some color intensification; they got some saturated warm darker brown that wasn't there before, which I kind of liked it. I am guessing if leather is waxy, this oil doesn't penetrate deep, but if leather soft and dried it saturate its color.

Works Great, Made from Minks
This product works wonderfully and keeps my boots well maintained. I am hopefully on the last pair of boots I will ever need.Due to the nature of the product, being made from minks, I won't be purchasing again on moral grounds. I will however say the product does work great and I will use the entire container I purchased.

Good
I use this on my Iron Ranger copper boots. It doesn't seem to change the color albeit only slightly darker because the oil is moisturizing the leather but it will lighten back up. Works well and smells good!

This stuff is pretty incredible
It's my first time using anything to spruce up leather, and I'm really impressed by this mink oil. It brought some little Coach booties back to life that I found on poshmark. I used saddle soap first to clean off and buff the initial surface scratches, dirt, and wrinkles, then applied this oil, and man, what a difference! It turned the leather a beautiful whiskey color that I never would have anticipated, and looks healthy and moisturized! I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks once the color fades a bit, but I'm already really impressed by how well this mink oil performs. I used it on another pair of booties--black ones--and the results weren't as obvious, but the deep creases and scrapes have pretty much disappeared, with just one coat of the mink oil! Definitely invest in this stuff, you won't regret it.

Great Results
I've had a pair of Red Wing "Oro Russet"-coloured boots for getting on three yearsand have kept them in good nick with a neutral leather cream. The hide was, however, beginning to look a tad tired so I decided to give Mink Oil a shot. I wish I'd used it fromthe off! It's fantastic stuff. Rub it in with a cloth or fingertips (fingers is definitely the wayto go!), leave it on overnight and remove any excess with a cloth the following day.The results are truly startling. The boots have been given a new lease of life.Highly Recommended.

Works wonders for leather boots
Used this on my Pier One leather boots, and the results were great. Considering how much I beat them, and their low price (probably due to not being as high-quality as a proper pair of leather boots from, say, Red Wing or Solovair), the are holding up OK, but after this oil they look almost brand new! Would recommend this for any black leather products.

Redwings Mink Oil .Does what it says on the tin .
A good product in soft wax form , a little goes a long way so although the tin seems expensive at £12.00 it should last quite a while if you use carefully without waste . I would recommend this product it feeds the leather and conditions my boots . definately a worthwhile buy .

Brilliant Stuff - Boots Like New
I had to have a good look round for the right product for my matt red leather boots which have been looking a bit tired and scuffed. This stuff works brilliantly to make them look as good as new with a fresh coat of waterproofing for the winter. Easy to put on and doesn't flick like applying polish. Gave the boots a good going over and hardly used any. Brilliant stuff!

Seems to work well
I have been careful on what colour and type of leather I have applied this mink oil to as it does seem to darken the leather. Always test it on the tongue (of the shoe!) first.
