Mens Cargo Combat Shorts With Multi Pockets Elasticated Waist Small To 5XL

Over the last few years my waist size has increased by a couple of inches. As such, I now find that normally a 42 waist is a good fit and 44 more comfortable for 'slobbing' around the house. When I looked at the description on these shorts, it stated that 3XL was for a 44-46 waist so I ordered that in case the waist size gets any bigger.When they arrived, I thought they looked a bit small but I tried them anyway. I managed to get them on although they were slightly tight around the leg. However, with the zip and button undone, there is a gap of about 6 inches between the button and the button hole. Fortunately, these shorts have an elasticated waist and in spite of the gap, there was enough stretch in the elastic to do them up.I checked the label and it definitely says 'XXXL' so I took out my tape measure and the measured them in the un-stretched state. It was 36 inches. By comparison, my existing shorts (a different brand described as 2XL) were 43 inches using the same measuring method.In spite of the label, there is no way that the shorts are 3XL. Because of the elastication, I can theoretically still wear them but I doubt I will bother unless my waist size decreases by several inches (which seems unlikely).I have given 3 stars because the shorts are ok and I would have been quite happy to wear them had they not been so undersized. However, with such inaccurate sizing on the 3XL, I think I have wasted my money.

I was very disappointed in the quality of these shorts and was expecting much better bearing in mind the cost. I could have bought better from my local market at half the price! The stitching was very uneven and there were lots of loose threads. I returned them for a full refund as I believed them to be faulty. However, I received £5 less than the price paid and think this very unreasonable. Not happy!

The sizes of these shorts is misleading!I am 45" waist, and so (for the second time!) ordered 3XL (said to be 48-50") ..... and found them to be very tight fit!Since the shorts (in fabric & tailoring) are otherwise excellent .... I will try again ..... but 4XL, this time!I ordered beige ........ but got a (definitely greenish) light Khaki! OK ..... we bigger chaps do not get many choices!

This product was a disappointment. Threads hanging from material, completely out of shape. Looked more like collots than cargo shorts. They were not expensive but quality very poor considering you can get much better quality garments fromLocal supermarkets for same money!!!

not as casual as thought bit too smart looking but very well made and nice but may be for the 'older' gentleman? good quality for the money but size is a bit on the small size, not long length in legs like casual combats and made for the slimmer figure I think

deliberately ordered a size bigger than I would normally and they are too small... However I like that the shorts are lightweight, so will hold onto them for use after I've lost a bit more weight!

My husband says they are the most comfortable shorts he has found ( he is a stoma patient ). I am pleased that my search is now over - will certainly be recommending to other patients.

breathable material, strong and heavy duty. Brilliant for outside workers and people on their feet all day doing lots of walking, I've had mine three weeks walking miles each day and not a glimpse of wear and tear
