When I fly, the airplane engine noise drives me crazy...that and the ridiculously loud speaker over my head that blasts me with every announcement from flight attendants and pilots. These earplugs make it so much more pleasant to fly. I literally never fly without these now. I put one pair in a keychain case, and keep another in the bag I always carry on, just in case I lose one. These earplugs reduce the engine noise to a very tolerable hum, and the booming announcements are now at a conversational level. I also like these better than those foam earplugs you have to squish up and quickly put in place, then hold there and wait a while for them to expand. These just fit. If you need, you can take them out and put them back in without the hassle of the squishy expanding ones. Basically, they're great and I never go on vacation without them.

I got these because my SO snores like a chain saw. They come with three different style ear plugs. Not a single one does anything for noise cancelling. You can still hear the TV in the next room, and if you are trying to muffle a snorer in the same bed/room these are not what you are looking for.They are also pretty large (I have smallish ears) so maybe I'm not getting a good fit?

These are not noise canceling. I tried all 3 pair and could still my air conditioner in the next room. I bought these specifically because I was sharing a hotel room with a VERY loud snorer and they did nothing for me. I had high hopes but alas, they are just normal earplugs. They are very comfortable but if you're hoping for silence keep looking. I did like the carrying case though.

I don't know why people are confused... You just hold the stub and stick them in your ear.The orange pawn-shaped ones wouldn't fit in my tiny ear canals. No big deal. I will use the other two sets for target shooting and for when I want to sleep in.Easy, washable, cute case.

These are perfect for our church - where the drums are loud but I still want to sing along. Helps to cut out some of the noise but still lets me sing and participate

I live in an apartment building filled with very loud children and I work odd hours. These earplugs have helped me regain my sanity and sleep! It completely shuts out irritating noise and they are comfortable enough to sleep through the night.

These are some of the most comfortable earplugs I've ever used. No earplug is perfect, but this is the best I've tried so far!

I am a side-sleeper for the most part. The hard inner shaft of these earplugs made sleeping with them very painful. I tried numerous times to make them work, but no go...
